Heyy! I never thought I would ever do this, but here I am :3

My name is Mary, and I am 21 years young. I have written stuff since I was 13 and uploaded it on wattpad before switching to ao3 later on. It's new for me to interact with people on platforms because I never thought someone would truly be interested in the things my last three sleep deprived braincells come up with now and then, but surprisingly, a lot of yall indeed are interested.

I'm nonbinary, so feel free to use any pronounce with me <3

There is not much interesting about me. I'm your typical introvert who hates to go out and loves reading with a small circle of friends.

English is not my first language, but I gathered that it would be much more beneficial and fun to write for a larger spectrum of people than just the ones that speak my native language.

My main fandom is Teen Wolf if it wasn't obvious with all my posts, but I recently got into Love and Deepspace too. Occasionally, I also slip back into the Jjk or One Piece fandom. Hawaii 5 O is one of my faves, too.

Some petopher angst because I love to make them suffer.

The night Derek has to kill Peter, Chris leaves Allison with Kate. He always prides himself in perfecting the indifferent hunter mask his father so often punched into him as a child, but he's also not foolish enough to believe he can uphold it. It's only an accessory for him to hide behind. He kisses Allison on the forehead and chuckles at his sister's joke about the night proofing why their family is superior to the supernatural, hating himself a little more that he's too much of a coward to show how he really feels about all of it. Of hunting. Of his family's fucked up morality.

Instead of going home, he picks up a cheap bottle of whiskey and a pack of cigarettes at the store before his feet lead him further into the preserve. By now he knows it even in the dark of night, pale moonlight revealing the first cracks in his facade. Derek's face flashes in front of his inner eye as Chris mindlessly wanders between trees. A scared boy, irises filled with the terror of realizing what is expected of him. Half of his family scattered in ash all over the territory and his uncle lying in front of him, looking halfway burned to his bones too. Then, claws and blood, crimson running down his trembling fingers.

Chris shakes his head to try and erase the memory. It's still fresh and while he can suppress most of it, Peter remains. Charcoaled skin, fried hair and blue eyes always on him until they lose their liveliness. Even in that moment not a trace of hate has lied in them, and while it would have been easier for Chris to look away, turning all his attention on his daughter in his arms, he couldn't. Instead they stared at each other, taking every feature in because it would be the last time. Even at the brink of death, Peter made Chris heart clench painfully.

It still does as the hunter's legs give out, knees hitting the soil. It will soon turn wet under the tears he secretly sheds while sobs involuntarily tear from his throat. The cigarettes remain untouched, but the bottle of whiskey steadily gets lighter. The display of forbidden grief of a love only known to two hearts, one still beating, the other resting still in a fresh grave he will shovel hard drunken to give Peter his deserved rest.

In an alternative universe Peter would be the dad who starts to laugh straight into the face of a mother who criticizes how boyish Malia dresses for the annual kindergarten picture day because he thinks it's a poorly said joke. Once he realizes the mother is serious, he gets all snarky and sardonic because who is this woman to think she can judge his daughter for her clothes and how she wants to express herself. The jeans dungaree with all the different patches plastered on it is her favorite so of course she picked it to feel comfortable. And she likes comics so she paired it with a t-shirt having superheroes as a motive. Malia would scratch Peter's eyes out if he ever dared to put her in a pink glittery dress with bows in her hair and he respects all her decisions as long as they are morally reasonable. Gender is a social construct, something he already realized when he was still a kid as well, so for the next fifteen minutes he verbally punches this mother with the smallest horizon of understanding known to humanity into defeat before turning to find his daughter in the crowd of energetic children and let her know she is the coolest amongst all of them.

Being a multishipper can be really hard sometimes. No matter what, there will be posts about how much people hate shippers of [insert ship].

And usually it's fine, but sometimes it just makes me feel really unwelcome in all my ship corners and it's lonely.

Shippers are real people. Being hostile to people who's only crime is shipping a ship you don't like is just seriously messed up.

You can hate the ship or characters all you want, but hating real people because of who they ship is going too far.

I really like the idea of Chris not wearing his wedding ring all through his marriage with Victoria, but always carrying the claw around Peter has given him when they still were together.

Peter Hale who always has this cocky and flirtatious charm surrounding him.

Peter Hale who could have a partner by now if he wanted to settle down.

Peter Hale who stopped dating entirely after realizing his heart just couldn't let someone new in.

Peter Hale who thought after death and resurrection the pathetic feeling of yearning for a person no longer close to him would go away.

Peter Hale who still dreams of blue eyes and a boyish smile pressed against his lips.

Peter Hale who never got over his first love.

Peter Hale who can't meet Chris' gaze directly because he's afraid one glance would be enough to reveal he never stopped loving him.

Just petopher being on my mind again (as if they ever leave):

"Stupid. Running into danger as if you are having nine lives to spare." Peter muttered under his breath while wringing out the washcloth Melissa so kindly provided earlier. A displeased frown knitted his eyebrows together and his voice carried quiet concern beneath the sneering scolding.

Hell has broken loose once again in Beacon Hills and at first Peter thought about just leaving for his long awaited vacation in the south of France. Perhaps a few years ago he would have done so, without a glance back nor worry about these kids' wellbeing, but aging made him stupidly softer. Or it's the influence of his weekly therapy sessions nobody knows about. Either way, instead of feeling the European sun warm his skin and having the scent of lilac fields surrounding him, he now sat in the backyard of the McCall house and patched up one particular stubborn hunter who ran into the line of danger without a second thought of being human. A werewolf would have been healed by now, but Chris unfortunately possessed the inconvenience of none supernatural healing.

"We both know the kids got it handled back there." Peter continued, not caring that the so called 'kids' are all over the legal age of 21 nowadays. Sometimes, Malia's actions reminded him how much she had grown by now, already halfway through college and doing all the things he did at that age as well; discovering the perks of dosing wolfbane just right to be able to get drunk and don't remember anything the next morning or fooling around with people who'll definitely haunt your mind for the rest of your life.

Like Chris still haunted Peter even over a decade later. It's his little secret that nobody besides the hunter involved knew about. The kids thought they just don't like each other after everything that happened between the Hales and the Argents and only work together because it's convenient for the pack. They don't know about stolen kisses in the shadows and sneaking out to spend time together without Talia or Gerard catching up on it. And they definitely will never find out about the horrible breakup that followed after filled with unresolved feelings and lack of communication.

Still, despite all of that, Peter can't hate Chris as much as he wanted to. He couldn't back then before the fire happened and he can't now. It would have made things easier. The holiday home in the south of France would long have been sold and he wouldn't sit here, dabbing away blood from the cut that reached across Chris' cheek while holding his jaw with a gentleness that belonged to the past.

not to teen wolf post in the big 26 but I need to just collect all my thoughts on the Hale timeline insanity as well as the major information gaps

stiles acts as though the hale fire was a well known event while scott acts oblivious to this. maybe scott is just an idiot, but you'd think cora would have been in school with them which would've made an impression. already gives a feeling of inconsistency of whether they were pillars of the community or whacky outsiders. were they a big deal or not?

obviously, we never know how old derek is. we fairly soundly assume that scott&stiles are 16 when the show starts, and stiles says he's only a few years older than them. My best assumption is that he was 16 when the fire happened and 21 when the show starts. this makes some sense. why do we never get to find out though.

the siblings is where it starts getting rough. cora is the same age as the main cast in s3 - 17. this makes her 11 or so when the fire happened. she made it all the way to south america by herself at 11 and returned as a normal socialised person after 5 years? wtf was her life? why was there never any sign of her? why did she leave again?

laura. she haunts me more than she does derek. how much older was she? old enough to legally take care of derek? why does she go alone to beacon hills? how did peter get the better of her? why do we never hear about her again?

derek's dad. why does he simply not exist?

we see so many people die in the hale fire. but the only named family member that actually dies there is talia. we can assume his dad did, but this implies a whole host of aunts and grandparents and cousins. why do we never hear about them?

peter. jfc peter. my biggest issue is we see his teenage actor for all the sequences with lydia, but his teenage actor also plays peter for the flashback with 15 y old derek. however for the hale fire just 1 year or less later they use his adult actor. now idm that continuity issue by itself, but I do mind it for the wildly different implications for his relationship with derek and talia. using the younger actor for the flashback scenes implies he is significantly younger than talia, looking between 5 and 10 years older than derek. even if that "teenage" version is supposed to be 15 years older (30 ??) that would still make him at least 10 years younger than talia, likely more (by the look of her, the actresses age and the age of her children). EXCEPT peter has a child of his own - malia - who is 4-6 years younger than derek. even if was 15 years older than derek, that would make him 20 when malia was born. that seems quite young for talia to write him off as a psycho who couldn't be trusted around children. but again, using his teen actor with teen derek implies a much shorter age gap, which would make him a teen himself when he had malia which just raises again so so many implications.
