A hearty Greek-style burger that will help you get over a hangover. It has crispy bacon, caramelized onions, a fried egg, and a tangy sauce.
Ingredients: 1 lb ground beef. 4 hamburger buns. 4 slices of bacon. 4 slices of cheddar cheese. 1 onion, thinly sliced. 4 large eggs. 1/4 cup mayonnaise. 2 tbsp ketchup. 1 tbsp hot sauce. Salt and pepper to taste. Cooking oil for frying.
Instructions: In a pan over medium heat, cook bacon until it's crispy. Take it off and let it dry on paper towels. Add the sliced onions to the same pan and cook them until they turn caramelized. Put away. Mix the ground beef together and use salt and pepper to season the patties. In the skillet, cook the burger patties until they are done the way you like them. Put a slice of cheddar cheese on top of each patty and cover until the cheese melts. Warm up some oil in a different pan over medium-high heat while the burgers are cooking. While the eggs are still runny in the middle, fry them until the whites are set. In a small bowl, mix the sauce by adding the mayonnaise, ketchup, and hot sauce. Spread sauce on the bottom half of each hamburger bun before putting the burgers together. Put a burger patty on top of the cheese that has melted. Put in a fried egg, bacon that is crispy, and onions that are caramelized. Put the other half of the bun on top. Feel free to serve the Hangover Burger Suntage Akes Petretzikes hot and enjoy!
