Hot take but hear me out:

Gravity Falls and Owl House cross over BUT there is a new protaganist, such protaganist is the child of Uncle Ford (maybe not a direct child but ford is a father figure to the main character). The protagonist comes across Eda travelling the human realm with King and the main character desides to talk to Eda, after much discussing Eda agress to take the child back and fourth between worlds.

then one day Ford comes across Eda and the protaganist travelling and confront them, but eventually come to the agreement for Ford's supernatural investigations in Gravity Falls and Eda's love for the human realm and the child they become friends

AND WHAT TIES THIS ALL TOGETHER:

Stan shows up sometime and meets back up with Eda and we find out that Eda was Stan's ex he talked up so much and one of the main reasons Eda took the main character other than their curiosity was they reminded them of Ford and Stan

Boom plot.

Add on the fact this series could tie in Amphibia, The Ghost and Molly Mcgee, Steven Universe, Star vs the Forces of Svil, She-Ra and other Sisney works that suit this style.
