"Please just speak to me...." His voice is pleading, praying he'll get you back to your old self. But as long as he was here and you were in his camera world, you would never be the same. You could never be happy caged up in a world like this.

You never wanted to look at him. You never wanted to be near him. You spent most of your time hiding away and refusing to meet his gaze.

You wouldn't even speak to him, something that really upset the french photographer.

"Your voice is so beautiful... I miss it. Can't you say just one little thing? This world isn't all that bad.... I haven't heard you talk since you got here!"

You didn't think it could get any worse until he sat next to you on the fake paper-like ground. His eyes never left you while he waited for you. It was so quiet... a silence you couldn't tell if you enjoyed or hated.

You continue to ignore the man standing behind you. His eyes stare at your curled up figure in what you could assume was sadness. That or impatience.

"You know I love you, right...?"

Nothing. You're way too focused on the wall in front of you to pay attention to him. Annoyed, Joseph turns you towards him.

If you kept this up maybe Joseph would get bored of you. Maybe he'll get desperate enough to let you leave this hell. It seems so pointless to hope for but maybe you'll get lucky.

You blankly stare at him while he tilts your chin up. You could only stare at him now, something that provided satisfaction for him. Even now you refuse to speak, however.

"You can only keep this up for so long..."

A rapier appears in your gaze, Joseph's eyes never leaving yours.

"If you won't talk willingly then that is something that can be fixed. Through bribery or violence...."

You eye the rapier with caution, wondering if he'd actually hurt you. He couldn't kill you as he kept you here to keep that from happening in the first place, but anything else was possible. You try to shuffle away but Joseph grabs you.

"Listen to me and I may even let you outside this world temporarily. It's up to you what path you want to choose."

Your choices were very limited yet you decide listening was the less painful one. Joseph grins when you perk up and look at him expectantly.

He had you like a fish on a hook....

"I just need to hear one simple thing..."

Joseph slowly puts his rapier away before smiling softly at you. Holding you close before resting his head on yours.

"Say you love me. I don't care if you mean it or not. I just need to hear it. It'll be enough for now."

"I love you... Joseph." You say in a gentle yet still forced tone, causing Joseph to sigh before pulling away.

You're hesitant on listening. If it meant going out for at least a little whiler, then maybe it was worth it.... If you fed into his delusions maybe you could get what you want.

It was small, but with time, he may be able to get you used to saying such sweet words.

It was enough to please him....

All that mattered to you were the words that came next.

"Maybe you do need a little fresh air...."
