I know even in the proship community, people bash yāall for enjoying stuff. But itās okay to write and read RPF, no matter how self indulgent it is.
Proship means ANTI-HARASSMENT, so RPF of course should never leak onto harassing the couples involved or anything like that.
Personally I keep all my stuff on AO3 under āusers onlyā when it comes to RPF, but it doesnāt always!
Itās okay to write and read RPF! If you find that the real people involved are heavily uncomfortable, please private it for only already users of AO3 can read it!!

my girlfriend who recently found out she was a system came to me with doubts.
"I don't think I've gone through enough to have a system."
"I don't think I have parts. They don't talk to me."
This is for anyone with these doubts too.
There is no meter of trauma "needed" to form a system. Everyone is different. You now versus you as a child is different. Young you handled things differently. You were discovering life. What doesn't seem like "enough" to you now can be influenced by SO many things. Desensitization, amnesia, parts hiding some memories from you, manipulation from abusers. It was enough to child you. So it's enough regardless.
Parts not talking or other wise communicating is Normal. It is part of the disorder. It is complex.
I have known I'm a system for 4 years now. I've made connections with my alters, bonds. And yet sometimes they still don't talk. Weeks. Months of silence. Months of being the only one "here".
It's all normal. It's your brain doing what it feels like it needs to do.
You are surviving, your system is real.

antis are people who want to take away basic internet privacy rights in order to stop queer people with weird kinks and proshippers who make fan content they dislike from existing on the internet. many have also said they wish death on people who donāt 110% side with them too, even on average normal people who arenāt obsessed with doomscrolling fandom wank online. (despite that being a huge amount of the population which is another way in which antis are very cultlike.) thatās just a basic short summary though. you can find a lot about what antis are on blogs like just-antithings and freedom-of-fanfic. freedom-of-fanfic is especially resourceful about this topic and goes very into detail about the cult-like abuse tactics antis use. blackheart-biohazards is another good resource for understanding this issue.

It's not just us taking on 'oh look this has anti written all over it' besides the fact it sort of does. This is a wider issue of people being anti-kink, anti-sex positive, and pushing conservative talking points into real laws. Anti's are just the fandomized version of these individuals.
These behaviors have bled into fandom, from 'normies' so to say.
Anti's are mimicking republican and conservative (aren't these the same things?) Talking points, but in progressive speaking. (I don't consent to reading this kink! Im being abused! Vs i dont consent to your kink in dressing in other genders clothes! Im being violated!)
(it's also fascinating these types wether fandom or normie, think that deviating from societal standards is a personal attack on t h e m)
This is just what the non fandom variant does. Instead of bitching about people online, this variant causes harm, but in laws. (The other tries their best to mob and suicide bait)
And people who have been against censorship, have been saying all this from the very beginning. When you screech about people in pup masks, you are saying any deviation from the -norm- as decided by those in power (government) should be punishable. But theres no distinguish from (Government) between a pup mask, drag queen, leather daddy, or trans person.
This is what exclusionist, and antis, and conservatives all have in common.
What they fail to grasp is they will never be respected. There is no respectable deviation from the -norm-. They're just not the ones being targeted -at the moment-
