WE’RE ALL FUCKIN’ DAMAGED. ❞ jason secures the robin suit on. he hasn’t even turned to look at conner. they’re all back where they started before shit hit the fan for the Nth time :  damaged kids locked up in the tower. as if it’s some kind of modern caricature of a shitty fairytale. 

           he hasn’t processed donna’s death. && frankly– he doesn’t want to. every time jason loses someone, a part of him dies. just another reason why jason shouldn’t waste his time being emotionally invested in others. it’s a lesson bruce has tried to reinforce repeatedly : ❝ work with people when you need to. but don’t get too close. ❞ of course, jason has to be the fuck up that doesn’t understand the wisdom behind his dad’s lessons until everything goes wrong. jason should probably be comforting conner. but he doesn’t know how to do it softly. gently. gar’s good at that. except gar’s a fucking mess too right now.

           his resentment towards dick grows more && more everyday. only too late did jason learn that dick just fucking does things without considering the potential repercussions. his starry-eyed heroworshipping of the first robin has mutated into something ugly. it builds into a need to punch the hell out of criminals.

           ❝ i’m going out on patrol. ❞ like hell is jason going to stay locked up in the tower. dick, dawn, hank && kory have been away with the JLA. doing what ?? who knows ?? do they ever tell the younger titans anything ?? nope. ❝ you can come with if you want. ❞ the cape billows behind him as he walks towards the elevator. with domino mask on, jason looks over his shoulder at conner. ❝ might help to get some air. && put some of that anger to use. ❞

    CONFUSION quickly replaced frustration. He wasn’t looking for comfort—they all knew what happened last time he and Gar went out. The DAMAGE he was talking about was something that he had to FIX before he could go out on patrol and fight crime full-time. That Jason didn’t understand that, of all people, was quite disappointing.

    While the other was making his way to the ELEVATOR the dog was guarding, Conner SPED in front of them and took Krypto in his arms, bringing him away on the couch and SIGNALING what he meant to say with a pat on his side. The last thing he wanted for his canine companion was to be on the receiving of the guy’s frustration.

    ❛ I can’t go out without the OTHERS. Dick said NONE of us is supposed to go out on patrol. He knows a lot of stuff and is really TRUSTWORTHY, so we should listen to him. I don’t wanna fight you, but he told me to CALL if this happened. ❜ A pause. ❛ DID you and Rose found that CLUB? She said the same thing. ❜

i’m drowning in drafts again & honestly i’m depressed because a few social interactions have completely drained me. i’m working on drafts slowly but for the most i’ll just be relaxing & taking time for myself.
