The claim that "Superman is too strong to have any meaningful conflict" is a ridiculous statement and makes the assumption that all conflict is rooted in violence.

Superman has conflicts around philosophy, societal issues, loneliness, balancing work and personal life, human empathy, rescue and yes, he does fight things. Things that are as strong as him. Just because he can move fast and punch good doesn't mean he can't have anxiety.

I don't know if anyone really talks about Clark's room back home at his parents house. The way he's characterized is so beautiful to me. The years growing up trying to be as human as possible. Learning and doing the best he could in school so he could get into the air force or NASA. A legitimate, HUMAN way to fly and be in the sky. He has so many airplane models and academic awards.

A lot of his fighting styles is VERY similar to how they teach fighter jet pilots as well. Like coming from the sun into the big creature? The way he flies up higher to avoid any casualties possible below. He wanted to be a pilot if he wasn't Superman

I recently looked back at BTS bedroom photos, and I love all the details they put in. Thinking about how deep down, Clark/Kal-El, Superman is lonely.

He's surrounded by humans, and he's probably designed a version of himself apart from journalism, a version that doesnt scare anybody - pilot, NASA, Airforce. All not just "cool jobs" but with structure, discipline, accountability. Like "If Im going to fly, I'm earning it how a human would."

There's an interesting thing going on with the different rooms we see in Superman 2025. Lois's apartment is warm and cozy, its got a bunch of reading lights, awards and various books all around. You can tell she spends a lot of time there. Clark's metropolis apartment is pretty much a glass room, there's barely anything in it, just a big window wall and a bed. Clark's childhood bedroom is so full of memories, things that he still unabashedly loves.

"Superman is a troll and a dickhead and he should be written meaner sometimes," I say into the mic. The crowd boos. I begin to walk off the stage in shame when two voices speak and command silence in the room.

"They are right," they say. I look for the voices in the room. There in the fifth row stand Lois Lane and Jimmy Olsen, who have been gaslit and trolled to the extreme by Clark before he revealed his identity to them.

I saw a reddit comment refer to Henry Cavill's Superman as "Potential Man" and by god that feels so accurate "He'd be so good if he was good!" "He's got the looks down he just didn't get the chance!" "He's good with what he had"

Why doesn’t Superman fight naked? Who’s going to actually stop him? Who has the ability to stop him? Who’s willing to try and stop him when he’s saving the world constantly?

Pro: You get an almost god like being protecting your planet

Con: you gotta see some dick and balls flap around in the wind somethings. Maybe you’ll even see his asshole in rare cases

My point is Clark could totally get away with it and achieve maximum sun exposure

I mean he could but why on earth would anyone take the time to glue a sock over their junk and freeze dry the glue I guess rather than just be wearing a speedo. It may not hurt but I have to imagine the glued on sock flapping in the wind is at least uncomfortable and awkward. If he truly wants the tactical advantage of showing his ass cheeks, he could wear a thong to battle. He could have a signature Superman Modesty Thong that has the crest on it

All of this would be easier to hide under his work clothes than a full body suit with a cape and boots

I mean, there’s actually a good, serious answer as to why Superman doesn’t go naked. It’s not just that he was raised with human, Midwestern US standards of modesty, nor the meta explanation that DC censors won’t allow his superjunk flapping about in the wind.

Really, there’s a very good reason why Superman chooses to not just wear clothes, but that particular suit:

Too bad German Garcia doesn't draw Superman, because damn, this art is nice. Also - I kind of wish that more of Superman's villains were goofy

I also like the writing. Before this he quips that Gotham's a bit away and i adore he didn't even tie up Spectro, he just folded immediately

Oh man, page made me sad. Kara and Clark have an especially strong relationship because they’re one of the few who can provide actual physical comfort. When Kara hugs him, he can actually feel it.
