Superman by JAMAL CAMPBELL
Superman exhibiting some of his combat skills in “For Tomorrow.” I love a good head butt.
Happy Father’s Day!
There are no words to express how much I miss Grant Morrison's (and after him, Mark Waid's) Justice League. They both told stories of such incredible scope. Everything the team deals with now seems so small and trite. Ah well.
Superman by Jim Lee and Scott Williams
Action Comics #870- Heat Vision to the eyes. Ouch.
Action Comics #870 - An epic collision on Brainiac's face.
JLA #41 - Superman absorbs the energy of an explosion capable of vaporizing half the galaxy. Doomsday is cancelled.
Superman Beyond - 10 Superman has to move a moon made of kryptonite away from the Earth. He dons his eradicator armor to shield himself from the K radiation and pushes the moon into the sun.
Action Comics #12 - Superman effectively turns his mind off to escape the influence of a powerful telepath.
Tanking a laser meant to cut adamantium in a team up with the Fantastic Four.
A submission hold from Superman #16.
Superman Punch. Justice League - #22
Skills. From Action Comics #16
Action Comics #14 - On Mars, a team of scientists is being attacked by an autonomous assortment of construction machines. Don't fight it. Just go with it. Kal-El, who is on Earth, hears their desperate cries for assistance and flies to Mars before any harm can befall the group. It would take a current ship about seven months to reach Mars. Faster than a speeding bullet indeed.
Red Hood and the Outlaws #14 - So somewhere out near Pluto Superman is seeking an audience with Starfire. He wants to ask her if she's been approached by Helspont but his request is met with reticence as the Outlaws want to avoid him entirely. Orn gets the idea of teleporting them all to Earth using Tamaranian masking technology since it's extremely fast and so subtle that Superman would have no idea where they were going or if they were even gone at all. He was wrong. Not only does Superman see where they're going, but he keeps pace with their teleportation, showing up no more than a couple of seconds after they do.
