Remake actually adding scenes from Reeve's perspective bit by bit across the game makes him so much more endearing as a character since it adds the layers around his desire to take down Shinra but also why he's scared of fully betraying them instantly.

Tbh surprised it took me this long to draw the Cait & Reeve as Caine & Kinger. Couldn’t decide on a look for either, so take two! Bottom feels more in line with TADC

Predictable lore: Reeve was the main programmer behind Creative Artificial Intelligence Technology, or Cait (Sith). The main structure was based off of a scan of Reeve’s own brain - not making an exact copy of Reeve, obv, but still a big foundation for Cait. For some reason, when Reeve gets stuck in the Circus, this leads to him being able to take control of Cait at times.

Idk also something something Shinra behind this, Reeve tries to keep that on the down low because he’s aware that Shinra is still watching the Circus.

Teeth!Cait keeps his mouth pretty closed usually, partly because he knows his eyes are off putting but doesn’t realize the closed jaw is probably more so. Reeve opens the mouth way more when he’s in control.
