Woozle and Lorax | bolt logo – 2015
An ongoing comic by me and my friend Bryan Rountree – Woozle and Lorax are two little green aliens who crash-land their space-cruiser in Roswell, New Mexico.
This is our first vector logo for the comic. Our hand lettering of the title often changes based on the theme and plot of each comic. This particular logo was designed primarily for use on the web and our social media business cards.

Split Decision froyo divider – 2014
In the fall of 2013 I was approached by Wagner-Bartosch to develop artwork for their unique product. A Los Angeles-based company, Wagner-Bartosch was impressed by the tremendous growth and surge in popularity of self-serve frozen yogurt shops. They also identified an oversight.
A major contributor to the success of self-serve frozen yogurt are the choices that allow customers to build a unique treat – but choosing too many flavors and toppings can result in an unappetizing combination.
Enter the divider! – a food safe paperboard insert that perfectly divides a frozen yogurt cup. By dividing their cups into two separate compartments, customers now had twice the options in the same cup. And the choices wouldn’t stop there…
To top off the frozen yogurt enhancing experience, Wagner-Bartosch wanted their dividers to display bright and attractive artwork, that would excite and encourage customers to double their fun. That’s where Super Rad Design stepped in.
Split Decision – For this divider design, the focus was on typography. Wagner Bartosch was looking for a fun phrase executed in an engaging style. The result was "Split Decision". The phrase was a clever verbal twist on the function of the divider, and the custom script lettering was illustrated to resemble chocolate syrup topping. We threw a strawberry, M&Ms, and crossed spoons in there for balance and fun, and topped it all off with a cherry. To keep heads turning one side is yellow, and the other blue.

Toppings! – This divider design was inspired by the incredible variety of toppings available to froyo fanatics. We overlaid helpings of decadent toppings with handfuls of healthy toppings to convey the contrast in topping options, and had fun with bursting and vibrant color combinations! We accomplished our goal of creating an eye-catching design that would grab customers attention form across the froyo shop with a divider that delivers a delicious, double-sided visual whammy.
Beware of God – 2014
Fear more than just the dog! – I see "Beware of Dog" signs posted all the time, especially in New Mexico. Have a dog? Have a fence? Want people to stay away? Yep, that's where you see those signs.
It occurred to me to flip the "D" with the "G" and suddenly we've got a whole new meaning. At the end of it all, a vengeful God might trump a vicious doberman, so watch your step... Now where shall we post this sign?

Argyle Invaders Skateboard Deck – 2014
Another SRD skateboard deck! This design features the "Argyle Invaders" illustration expanded to fit a 7- 7/8" popsicle deck. The board was designed as my submission to boardpusher.com’s Third Thursday skateboard design contest for December. The December contest called for submissions with graphics that incorporated a pattern.
