If youâre bisexual, youâre not gay.
Saying youâre gay when youâre actually bi is the real bi erasure everyone is complaining about.
This is true.
I cannot relate or converse with non radfem women anymore because no matter what kind of issue and problem I want to discuss, the second I point out itâs all caused, perpetuated, and done by men and for benefit of men, suddenly they look uncomfortable, they look away, they mumble ânoâ and then shake their heads and start their talk about ânot all menâ, they start lining up excuses, explanations, justifications, trying to cut blame into small pieces and disperse it all over society, itâs not just the men, itâs not all of them, women do something unrelated that is somehow equally bad and worth bringing into discussion, men were taught to act this way, eventually it all turns into one big chant âwe must not blame men. we must not blame menâ and I can talk about globe-wide issues, witch burnings, foot binding, female genital mutilation, slavery, taking human rights from women, marital abuse, pedophilia, rape, necrophilia, destruction of environment, murders, forced impregnation and forced birth, taking womenâs last names and their identities, forcing their name onto womenâs children, societal brainwashing and Stockholm syndrome, I always get the same feedback âWe must not blame men.â
And I get it, I know whatâs happening under their conscious thoughts, I know whatâs going on in their heads when they look away. â It would be really painful to believe men are like this after Iâve given them so much love and trust. I donât want to believe that my male friends, partners, father, brothers, are all like this. They arenât. This has to have another explanation. If men are truly like this I wonât be able to feel safe anymore. I want to feel safe. If I start believing this then how will I get to work tomorrow, how will I get to class, how will I go home? I canât survive without men. Calling them out is dangerous. If I were to say something like this to them, they wouldnât take it well, they would attack me and deny it. I know exact words they would use, Iâll say them all now. I really want this to not be true. If I can explain it away, it might go away. I want to believe theyâre good. I want to keep hoping. I can still survive like this. Itâs survivable. I want to live in a world where theyâre not like that, and maybe if I believe it strongly enough, it will happen. I can remember men doing some good things too, Iâll hang onto those memories. Maybe theyâll change if we give them enough kindness and love.â
And we were all there. We all started from this. And it was a hard step to let go of it. It was a hard step to acknowledge that thereâs so many women who wonât survive under tyranny of men. Thereâs such a large number of women who are tortured every day. Every single woman is taking damage under the male controlled system, and even if some can survive it, for most itâs only matter of time before theyâre assaulted, tortured, raped, denied resources, backed into corner, forced to give up their integrity, their resources, their justice, their safety, their life. We already are forced to look at atrocities they do to our sisters, mothers, to our children, and then we have to look away, we have to let it keep happening. I wouldnât ask women to face harsh realities if I had not believed itâs truly and honestly in their best interests. You can defend men all your life, and still your life might end with manâs hands around your neck, as he tells you that you asked for it. Believing in their good nature wonât save you from men. They already kill women who believe in them, and they kill them slowly, punish them for their trust and empathy, use their compassion against them, use womenâs survival instincts to get more and more and more from them.
Getting away from men, or disabling them from harming any woman on this planet is the only thing that has any chance of protecting you. You are worthy of more than men have convinced you. You are life itself and theyâre trying to hide it from you. You are a source of life and itâs in their nature to destroy you. You deserve a better life than what men have given you.Â
Cis is such a gross buzzword
Like to imply females who arenât trans are complacent with forced femininity is just about as ignorant and disgusting as you can get
@pancakesbejealouswaffles
âSaying choke on a dick to a lesbian isnât homophobic. Saying it is is an insult to homophobia and those who actually experience it.â
Look here. Shut the fuck up about homophobia. Youâre not even homosexual. âThose who actually experience it.â I DO. Iâm a fucking lesbian dumbass. And yes. When someone already knows youâre a lesbian and tells you to choke on a dick, itâs insinuating youâd fucking suck dick or that you should get raped. Either one. Which is, you guessed it, HOMOPHOBIA.
Itâs an insult. It isnât meant to be nice.
I prefer telling people to eat ass, particularly mine. Thatâs all inclusive.
But no, itâs not dissimilar to telling people to go choke on a spoon, or lick a dogs anus. They arenât insinuating you actually go shove a spoon down your throats or to engage in beastiality, they are just insulting you.
Which based on this post, they succeeded.
Iâm sorry but are you gay? You prob wouldnât understand.
Iâm bisexual, so I get bitching from both sides. And I understand insults, do you not?
Yeah I also understand that insults can be homophobic and/or misogynistic. Itâs easy.
But can you always use context to understand if that is the point or intent?
Yes. Apparently you canât. Itâs probably because youâre not gay. So you should probably stop pretending youâre smarter than me. :)
@keyhollow is bi tho??? She likes dicks and chicks??? She is gay? And who are you to say youâre smarter than her?
I never said Iâm smarter than her. But she ainât gay. Bisexuals arenât gay.
But I am bi and I am gay.
Is it homophobic to tell a gay guy to choke on a dick? Or like maybe its okay because he likes dick? Iâm not understanding this.
No. Youâre not gay. Youâre bi.
And no itâs not okay but itâs like telling a gay guy something about eating pussy lmao
Until they stop calling it âgay marriageâ and âgay prideâ and âthe gay communityâ and when bisexuals stop experiencing homophobia, I will probably not stop calling myself gay considering the historical context of them term always included bisexuals lol
Would it be better to say, âchoke on the genitalia of your preferred genderâ?
Youâre still not gay lol youâre bi and Iâm sick of people like pretending youâre gay
I am very gay girls are so hot
OP, Sheâs sexually attracted to girls. Same sex attraction. Thatâs the literal definition of gay. How are you not understanding this?
No, actually.
The attraction to males and females is Bisexuality. The EXCLUSIVE attraction to members of the same sex is HOMOsexuality.
Seriously, itâs not that hard. Iâd ask how youâre not understanding it but I suspect you have an agenda.
Itâs called gay marriage because itâs same-sex marriage. If youâre bi and end up marrying a man, youâre not in a same-sex marriage. All these things relate to the gay side of you, but bi people move in and out of the gay community. Itâs not because we force you out - there are 4 times as many bisexuals as homosexuals - itâs a voluntary shift you make, and the bi people I know are wonderful but also suck at making a consistent community of their own. The majority end up in long-term opposite-sex relationships and never circle back, so thereâs no community core to sustain itself. I do agree that bi people can end up being isolated as a result, but the gay community is more welcoming than the straight community is. The outrage is misplaced.
feminism is not about equality of sexes. It is about physical, mental and social autonomy of women. Men are not a guideline to measure our independence.
If I see one more privileged white man calling women he doesnât like âBecky,â I might scream.
Imagine awesome trans gals leaving lesbians the fuck alone and actually having sympathy for women who undergo sex based oppression while acknowledging their male privilege and trying to reform male spaces rather than encroaching on female ones.
âqueer as fuckâ, or, in scientific terminology, âheterosexualâ,
anyways iâm queer
Big olâ queer here

This image has been circulating the Internet as an ad campaign by Blush Lingerie to feature transwomen.
The model for this ad is a self-identified gay man who goes by giovannigro on Instagram.
To me, this looks like yet another example of how a company will try to capitalize on pride celebrations, and it shows how gay identities are being erased to suit the current narratives of what gender should look like.
when your definition of gender and sex becomes âwhatever the individual believes it to be with no qualifiersâ how can you reasonably get upset when someoneâs definition/associated attraction doesnât perfectly match up with your own
if radical feminism wasnât made out to be this insidious, evil hate movement towards trans women there would be a lot more radfems. when you look past the lies and misconceptions about radical feminism, itâs just a movement for the protection, safety, and liberation of women.
because the liberation of women doesnât suit men, men have turned radical feminism into a taboo topic. by telling people that radical feminism is only about hating transgender people, men have successfully made it something that young, susceptible women donât want to look into or be a part of, for fear of being cast out or hated.
itâs horrible to see so many women on this website reading anti âterfâ posts and adding things like âi dont know what a terf is but i hate them too!!â. they have no idea what theyâre proclaiming to hate, but they do so because âterfsâ have become a hate group in their eyes, because of the actions of men.
radical feminism is none of the things youâve probably been lead to believe. i (and every other radfem i know on here) am always happy to answer any questions about radical feminism you have, on or off anon. learning and thinking for yourself will always be far superior to blindly believing what the majority tells you.
you know what? being a feminist is SUPPOSED to be hard. no movement thatâs easy is going to get anything done. its hard to stand up to your friends. its hard to read article after heartbreaking article of female circumcision and rape. its hard to break your habit of watching porn, of not leaving the house without makeup on, arguing with men who can get away with calling you a crazy bitch and have everyone believe them, and calling out your boyfriend on his shit. its easier to take the liberal road of feminism, but flower crowns and âlipstick the color of menâs bloodâ is not what this movement is. we should be in this for change. RADICAL change, on every level. remember that the strength of being a feminist comes from facing the hard shit, not taking the easy way out. Â

The legend said that there was a time where feminists agreed that womenâs safety was more important than male feelings
It was a brief time. It came as fast as it went. But boy, was it a good time.
