should probably point out that what's happening in gaza does not exactly match the trail of tears, because rather than leaving gazans are actually trapped inside gaza and get shuffled around to different zones at the leisure of the idf, shot and killed on the way, and then bombed again once they reach the humanitarian zones. it is not one long death march to the unknown, it is repetitive death marches between extermination camps in a cage, ad infinitum, for a year straight.
