"has the opposite affect on most other time lords" "what about us" "you and i, we're special cases. i'm not from gallifrey, and you, well- basically, we're the two people in the universe best placed to help the doctor stop her"
WHAT DOES SHE MEAN WHAT DOES SHE MEAN
right. now where was I? jane austen. amazing writer, a brilliant comic observer, andāstrictly amongst ourselvesāa phenomenal kisser. āāĖļ½”āā ā¹ #fightsaliens, a private, highly-selective, mutuals-only portrayal of clara oswald from bbc's doctor who (2005) , as told by odette ( 27, she/her, gmt+2 ), headcanon based with influences from canon, entirely anti-moffat and gatiss.

" mm. " susan raised her brows as she hummed in agreement. " didn't get threatened with expulsion nearly as much as you, though. " ironic, somewhat, that he got in more trouble, yet she was the one who didn't end up graduating. didn't matter now, of course. didn't really matter back then, either, except how big of a deal the time lords always made that sort of stuff.
it wasn't what she was talking about. they both knew that. if anything, she was proud of the havoc she caused as a time tot. it really was nothing, especially when compared to what she would do later on. commander arkytior larn. weapons expert. everything she did was in the name of duty -- of a justifiable end -- but that didn't mean she was proud of it. that didn't mean she should have done it. it was a long time ago now. it still haunted her.
at least one of them was moving on. " it's nice, " she said, looking around the room. it was a home. an actual home. the closest susan had was a vortex manipulator and several unpaid-for hotel rooms. " are you enjoying it? retirement? "

What is something about my portrayal[s] that sticks out?
Example being; my muses ticks they have, the way they talk, etcetera.
i suck at promos so much so here is my promo :) i'm archer this is my dw oc autumn brooke (@tardisghosted) i have been writing her for literally forever and a day. i have my own tardis wiki page thing for here here. she kind of just chills in the tardis being annoyed at the doctor. this is a side blog; i follow back from @susanforeman!
" it is you, isn't it, doctor? "
it wasn't office hours, yet she sat in one of the chairs regardless. the door being locked had been but a small hinderance to getting inside and waiting for him to return from one of his lectures. the chair was turned slightly toward the door that he'd just opened, but even if he didn't see her, he would have recognized her voice immediately.
she was old. older even than the last time he saw her, toward the end of the war. physically she was basically unchanged -- looked better, even, having started resting and actually taking some sort of care of herself once the conflict was over -- but it was immediately clear that she wasn't the young, excited girl he'd once traveled with. maybe it was her eyes. maybe it was the way she relaxed so fully into the chair, relying on it to support her because she struggled to do so herself.
susan was ancient.

"There will come a soldier Who carries a mighty sword He will tear your city down" Righteousness. Strength. Violence. You see a door and break through it. You wonder, sometimes, if anger is the only thing you can feel. Remember : love is passion too. You made your own rules and will follow them to death. You try and forget that there is only one rule, and that it is "FIGHT". You are tired of fighting. You try to forget that, too, and keep going. You dream of quiet. Your love is where you heal. God knows you deserve to. (Really. You deserve to.)

"and they're still called fish?" did people name them fish? this woman looks human enough, but you can never really tell. like the doctor said - it's optional. "must be a massive string."
how do spaceships not get caught on them? maybe there's less spaceships out there than she thinks. or maybe there's regulations, to avoid ... space fishing. she'll ask the doctor later, and he'll probably go on and on about it, and she'll enjoy every minute of his rambling because he enjoys it.
a couple of months ago, she would've had to make an effort not to wince. she's had a couple of good trips to come up with an answer, though, depending on where they are.
"couple hundred light years away. been doing a bit of traveling, my friend and i. it's much better than ... jobs, and going to work, and the day to day what about you?."
" 'fish' can be a general term, depending on the language, " she said, quickly finishing off her drink and setting it aside. " fins and no legs -- it's a fish! " they had cats on gallifrey, though that was less a case of unrelated species being called the same thing, and more that cats had been purposefully spread throughout the universe.
naturally, susan caught the vagueness of donna's response. it was said nonchalantly enough and susan just nodded along in agreement about it being better than working a nine-to-five, but she noted it in the back of her mind. right now, however, there really wasn't any reason to waste time being suspicious. if donna had sought her out then that would be an immediate red flag, but susan was the one using her. there was any number of reasons for someone to avoid being specific about their home planet -- even that it was simply so obscure that it wouldn't be recognized.
" pretty much the same. " she was no better when it came to vagueness. " a small planet on the other side of galaxy. " she waved her hand to emphasize her point. " the shuttle here was terrible! " she added with a laugh, " but it beats having to go to work. and now i've got a free lunch out of it! "
she indicated the clock on the far wall, though it looked nothing like any clock to be found on earth. " would you want to go now? that way you're not too full by the time your friend gets back. " donna wasn't really given any time to say no before susan jumped from her seat and started putting things in the bag she'd brought. some of the items fumbled in her hands, as if she was in such an excited hurry that she was messing up putting them away. " i hope they're not very busy right now, " she mused, supposedly to herself, " i'd hate for there to be a wait. "
shrugging off the robe and setting it on the back of the chair, it was revealed that susan hadn't switched into a swimsuit, but rather was just wearing regular clothes. a bit odd for a spa, but not so much if she didn't really plan on swimming. " we can go grab an outfit from your room, " susan offered, looking over at donna. the rooms were just around the corner from the pool. " i think it's pretty casual. "
there really wasn't too much of a risk of susan being asked for identification when they went to the restaurant, but it couldn't hurt to be prepared. she was sure she could find something of donna's friend to flash as proof-of-belonging were she to be questioned.
arkytior hated the academy. she didn't like anything they were learning, other students were mean to her, and she missed her parents. there were hundreds of years of lessons ahead of her and she'd only just begun. she didn't even want to be a time lord except for knowing that to not be a time lord meant to be nothing. failing the initiation ceremony or dropping out was worse than death, really, so everybody just had to push through until they received their diploma and regeneration cycle and could go do anything (so long as that anything was from a list of approved careers).
except she was the only one who really seemed to feel like she had to 'push through.' everybody else was passing their tests and making friends with ease. she struggled not to fall asleep in fifth dimensional calculus and got teased mercilessly for being so easily pushed to tears. she was a friendly and nice kid, but even at their young age the academy was already a competition. a chance to form alliances that would help one's career in the future. arkytior wasn't good at networking. she just wanted friends.
" hi! " the dorms, like the rest of the school, were too stuffy. she needed to put her feet on the earth. within the first couple of days she'd found out how to sneak outside undetected and walk a few minutes to a secluded valley full of tall red grass. in a short time a horde of flutterwings would settle here for about a week as part of their annual migration east. it didn't bother her that she had never seen this girl here before today. arkytior pulled at her blue robes and sat in the grass, tossing her head back to look at the stranger upside down. " are you a student? "
