Yeah, so… Etho’s fine! Or he will be, for the most part. Some trauma may or may not have been involved. There’s a lot I could talk about here but I’ll try to keep it short SFBJDFK

As much as bdubs will laugh it off and try to ignore that all of this happened, I can’t imagine he walks out of this without some ““software instability”” of his own. Seeing this… thing (it’s a thing, not a person, he reminds himself) cling to him, desperately, even, until it can’t anymore, something about etho’s grip going from tight, to weak, to stiff (thanks @saphushia for that one), something about being struck by how human and emotive this thing looks, weary and withered, and then being forced to acknowledge how very not human it is, having to pry its mouth open and hearing the unwilling machinery creak and protest as it locks down… idk man. They both definitely have a lot to think about after this <3
