My house is one of the houses in the middle of the picture. Our house was wonderful; our life was refined; everything was beautiful. After the recent war, life became sad, and misery filled my heart. Now we live without a home, without the basic necessities of life.
Any contribution, any donation will make a huge difference in our lives. Any action you take is a lifeline for me and my family.
If you are healthy, there are people who are suffering. I am currently suffering from anemia and thalassemia. Please donate, share, anything you can.

begging everyone to stop using “calling the police” or “should be arrested” or “go directly to jail” or “should be put on a registry” or “should be illegal” or whatever else as a shorthand for “I don’t approve of this behavior”
What you must understand is:
1. Men are systematically privileged over women.
2. Men love to take advantage of that privilege while simultaneously denying that it exists.
3. This dynamic does not change when the men and women in question are trans.
Men get very upset when confronted with this!

i wonder if i'll still have a blog tomorrow when i wake up!!!! it looks like posts are getting deleted right off my blog so idkkkkkkkkkkkk
well that didn't take long, less than an hour. @staff do you wonder why we loathe you?
please note that none of you would have seen this if I hadn't reblogged it because I believed her. can you please believe me that it happens so much more often than you hear about? the only rare thing here is that it's too obvious to miss.
His wife has filled his house with chintz. To keep it real I fuck him on the floor.
My roommate is transmasc. We were just talking about their reluctance to use the men's bathroom even as they "pass" more and more as a man, which is starting to cause people to give them concerning looks when they use the women's. They said they still use the women's because they feel more comfortable there. Which is fine, we shouldn't have gendered bathrooms anyway. But I told them "you might not feel as safe when you eventually get 'accused' of being a trans woman in the women's bathroom." To which they replied "oh, I'll lust lift my shirt and show them my mastectomy scars. That'll prove I belong in there."
Oh but "everyone is subjected to transmisogyny" (according to tMRA chuds, not my roommate), right?
This is the point of TME/TMA. This is why non-transfeminine people aren't subjected to transmisogyny.
I can't fall back on my AGAB to "prove I belong" in women's spaces.
a character being a perpetrator does not negate their victimhood and neither does their victimhood negate being a perpetrator. u can accept and reckon w both dimensions in ur analysis
there is nothing morally purifying about suffering or victimhood, it is not something that inculcates “goodness.”
one’s character has no impact on whether they were/are a victim or not, victim status is not something that is only afforded to the palatable.
it also does not = absolution.
ppl cant handle this in cartoons made for teenagers lets not get ahead of ourselves
One thing I love is that Neil perceives the Heat as this external entity that looms just “around the corner”, and he takes all necessary steps to ensure that when the Heat finally comes, he’s ready and packed to escape. Neil doesn’t have close relationships, other than the more paternal/ friendly dynamic he has with Chris, in order to not be tied down or put any potential loved ones in danger. He even asks Chris whether him being a husband and father won’t affect his rationality to make the right choice in a high tension situation.
By the end of the movie, we see the Heat not as external danger/risk, but as the core driving force of people like Neil and Vincent. Because it’s exactly that Heat, the obsession and grudge and passion, that makes Neil turn the car back around, and it’s that same force leading Vincent to Neil like a moth to a flame, ultimately killing him.
The most ironic part is that Eady (the one Neil was so adamant about letting in his life, since he believed a romantic, or any close relationship, would lead to his demise) ends up being the sole voice of reason during their car ride to, what could have been, freedom, “Is there time?”, and it’s exactly Neil making the very conscious choice towards his death, “There’s time”.
The Heat was never around the corner, it had always been right there, inside of them.
Wanted to add that this is one of the reasons I find it very very amusing when I see some viewers (usually boys/ young men) glorifying Neil’s detached and cold nature, like something one should incorporate in their own relationships. When the whole point of the movie is definitely not that and can even be a warning to adopting such an attitude in regards to relationships.
If i may, Neil dodges the invisible. The Heat is like a hydra with ghostly eyes operating all around him, haunting him. While trying to escape this, Neil must live coldly, like a ghost as well. But he is still alive and that is no way to live. The ghost lifestyle cant be sustained so long as his heart audibly beats
