I just remembered that this was happening eight years ago tonight. And C just started to watch the bootleg of Jeff performing Daniel Johnston’s “True Love Will Find You in the End” at Jordan Hall at Harvard, which I also bore witness to, eight days prior to this particular evening, and my goodness, I have had some beautiful nights.

I froze when this happened in front of me, and I am so grateful my friends filmed it, because all I remember was the sound in the room, the quality of light, the warmth in my chest, the Feeling in the front of my brain, and how lucky.

I am regularly a ghost on the internet, but I am glad to still have a here to be. A non-nostalgia-filled post sometime soon, mayhaps.

Fleshing and flushing out fledglings again (always). Those two scenes in the first season of Stranger Things where a terrified Will sings a few bars of “Should I Stay or Should I Go” echoed and resounded in me and made me want me to do a simple, melancholy cover of aforementioned song the first time he sang it. So, this weekend, in celebration of Stranger Things season 2, I finally buckled down and recorded it. As with everything I ever record, I think it sounds best through headphones.

Accidentally left this thing going all night (I refuse to put music on my phone because I am stubborn and old). Picked it up this morning to find this song playing.
