Whereas the original production has this scene take place in almost total darkness, the restaged US tour features a shadow play of sorts in which we see the Phantom being put on display during his time in the traveling fair.

It’s fine if peeps in the phandom love the 2004 film. It’s fine if people don’t like the book. Or don’t like the ALW musical. It’s fine if you like or dislike any incarnation of the story (though I do have trouble with rat phantom, but to each their own). Long story short, don’t pick on people for liking one adaptation over another. You go. You like the thing.

I’ve scanned the spread on Phantom from Venetian magazine! I scanned the cover a while back here.

So while it is of course your prerogative and there is nothing I’d be able to do to stop you, I would really appreciate if you guys didn’t repost my scans (or at least credit me if you want to make edits, etc.) since this magazine is quite oversized and thus didn’t fit in a regular sized scanner and I did pay like $500 for my big scanner… do you kinda get what I’m getting at here?
