I was heading off to bed and I kept feeling the nudge to pull a card. I'm tired! I really don't feel like doing a reading right now! Well, you know how Spirit works, especially if you don't listen! So I got up, reached for the nearest deck, sguffled and pulled a card. Then I was being guided to pull another, so I did. The message that was delivered blew my mind!!!! What a beautiful combination of cards! I couldn't ask for anything else. I have been REALLY working on my spiritual self, tirelessly, endlessly and was very close to giving up. Then Spirit comes along and tells me that I'm doing just fine and in track. I am learning to love those little judges, even if the timing stinks! Day 18-"How Can I Create More Abundance". My card is, "Peace. I am a being of love, and I release all negative energy." Its pretty clear: I need to release any negative energy surrounding the areas of my life where I want to create more abundance. For me, I completely know what this means. When I start thinking about those areas, I start off great, but then my thinking starts going in the negative. "Why can't I have more....". "Am I not worthy?" "Do I not deserve it?" Things like that. Those are the thoughts that are keeping me from receiving abundance. #januaryclarity Day 14 - "Big Goals for 2017" "Bone Collector" I believe the Bone Collector is telling me that through achieving the goals I have already set for this year will help me regain a piece of myself that I lost long ago. That is what the Bone Collector does - she gives back a piece of yourself that you lost. This is perfect for me because the goals that I have set for this year all completely focused towards returning to my true self. So as long as I stay focused and keep my intention clear and present, I will regain that which I have lost. This morning during my meditation, I was being pushed to open my eyes. Now, that goes against everything I've ever learned about sitting, focused meditation. So I fought it. It just got stronger. So I surrendered and opened my eyes. (I really didn't have a choice, being the push was over-powering my every attempt at contro) But when I did, this is what I saw. I know to some it may be just a tree. And, up until this morning that's all it was to me. But, I realized something about fog. Always before when it was foggy, I would strain to see the fog - to try and look IN it, to see what its hiding. But when I opened my eyes, it was like I was in a world that consisted of just me and this giant beauty. Fog is like blinders on a horse. It clouds everything else out and brings just one thing at a time into view. It's kind of like Spirit saying, "Hey, look at this! And JUST this.". I have looked at this tree everyday of my life for the last 5 years and still, it was as if I was seeing it for the first time. Our eyes are always so busy taking everything in our view in, that sometimes we might miss the most beautiful thing right in front of us. Imagine walking sound in a constant fog, having to see only that one thing in front of you? Imagine the world being white and invisible, except for that 1 thing in your immediate view? Man, we would look at life so differently. I have always said perspective is EVERYTHING. And that keeps proving more and more true to me everyday. #januaryclarity #instachallenge Day 12 -" Where Do I Need Boundaries" I used the Shadowscapes Tarot Deck for this prompt and the 4 of Swords revealed herself. I immediately knew what her message was. I have taken too much of a break. Laid all 4 swords down. Gave up. I need to balance the rest with the preparedness. Quiet the mind and still be ready and willing to take on what comes at me. Day 9 - just joining this tarot/oracle challenge, but I'm off to a GREAT start! For today - "What lesson will I learn in 2017", I chose to use James Van Praagh's "Soul's Journey" Lesson Cards. And it is perfect -" Change. I understand that nothing can grow or evolve without movement.". It's perfect because I am so ready and plan to make some major changes this year. The hardest part about accepting change is that most of the time for a change to occur you have to move out of your comfort zone. Another point that is usually viewed as a downside to change is that most of the time in order for something to change, something has to end. We don't always see endings as a positive movement. But, that is change. I am ready and willing to accept that. I will rid my life of what no longer serves my highest good. I will put an end to old habits and negativity. My sister in-law got me the most perfect, wonderful mug for Christmas. First of all, I LOVE mugs!! And I LOVE my Irish heritage!! So this is the perfect gift for me! It reads, "An Irish Blessing.
