Agenic | System Origin Term.
Coined by @sxtem on June 15th, 2026. // Credit is not required when using this term, just use it if you'd like to. However, you can obviously also credit us if you want. ! This does not count for archives. Please credit us if uploading this term/these flags into an archive of any kind.
Term already exists? Consider it an alt.
! This is a sub-/microlabel of Quoigenic. Agenic may also fall under the Endogenic label depending on usage.
Agenic is for a system origin term for systems/plurals of any origin and describes specifically feeling:
a) ...apathetic towards their systems origin (not caring about where their system or plurality stems from).
b) ...like their system does not have an origin & they have just always been plural.
c) ...that they do not want to disclose their origin due to safety, preference, or lack of care.
Agenic systems/plurals may also use the term to set a clear statement that origins do not matter to them and that they view every system/plural as just plural.
There are two different versions of flags for agenic origins:
Version 1: General Agenic flag
This is the general agenic origin flag. The dulled blue and beige colours represent distance to an origin and the lack of care for it. The black stripe stands for total apathy towards it.
Version 2: Alternate Agenic flag
This version encapsulates any origin an Agenic system or plural may have. An individual may use this flag if they feel like their origins are still a part of them despite not wanting to disclose or feeling anything towards it, or simply because they like this flag better. The yellows and greens describe both traumagenic and endogenic origins, while the two gray stripes stand for any other origins. The white stripe in the middle ultimately represents always having been and/or identifying as plural, therefore not caring for origin/s.
---
Both the origin term and both flag sets are pro-all origins and may be used by systems of any origin. This label was made primarily for those described, but anyone can use it if they identify with it.
We are pro-plurality (includes all origins), rad-inclus, anti-radq. We currently do not posess a DNI/BYI on our page - this will change in the future. However, we'd like to specifically ask radqueers to not interact. They are however still free to use our terms.
! Anti-Endogenics can interact with us as long as they do not harass us or try to change our minds. Everyone is entitled to their own opinion as long as they do not harm anyone and we would prefer minimal syscourse on our page unless we started a discussion. Thank you!
