I updated my Industrial Suite for Tsukiyomi for Dawntrail! I kept the bottom of the build the same, with the lobby and the elevator except I updated the mail slots in the lobby to an all-in-one furnishing object instead of 20 Bachelor Chests lol

What you'll notice this time is I kinda went all out with a New York City brownstone facade! There's even side stairs for a fire escape! I'm actually quite proud of this one, and I really had to consider whether to keep the rain fall or not, but I ultimately decided that the rain would add a lot when you visit ingame and you can see the moving bits, and it's about vibes, innit.

I like this new loft I figured out, using the Everkeep Kitchen. Granted, it's a corner furniture so you have to make an L shaped loft, but I think it looks great. Good luck trying to hide the faucet on top, tho lol That's why I used wooden showcases above!

I also tried to make the illusion of a glass sliding door with curtain inset, so hopefully that comes across in the build.

Gotta tell you guys something wild in the Chinese fan sphere

So some fanartist drew a “sexy” (read: booby) version of a (cartoon) character who is traditionally very non-sexualised. Fans of the character got mad about it because it’s kind of groundbreaking how that character is written and portrayed and this art totally ignores the entire point of the character. They demanded the art be deleted. In response to that other people said, well what the fanartist did may be distateful but they have every right to draw what they’re into. The two sides fight for days and each starts a harassment campaign and even report their “opponents’” accounts.

So far so typical. But things eventually come to a head and they decide that this will be settled by votes - not through a poll. Through donations to a children’s education charity via each side’s portal. Whoever can get the highest amount of donation wins.

And that is how this charity received over 1 million in donations in three days lol. Oh btw the “freedom of expression” side won by a landslide (960k to 40k)

Chinese giant salamander (娃娃鱼) a.k.a ‘baby fish’ due to the sound they make that sounds like a baby crying.

The Chinese giant salamander is one of the largest salamanders and one of the largest amphibians in the world. It is fully aquatic and is endemic to rocky mountain streams and lakes in the Yangtze river basin of central China.

The Chinese giant salamander is considered to be a "living fossil". Although protected under Chinese laws, its population has faced severe declined over the last 70 years and is currently (2022) listed as threatened. There are evidence indicating that the Chinese giant salamander may be composed of at least five cryptic species, further compounding each individual species' endangerment. It can reach up to 50 kg (110 lb) in weight and 1.8 m (5.9 ft) in length.
