The actual patterns aren’t taken from anything specific but i wanted to further emphasize their different approaches to life so Dahlia’s are smaller and more curled in on herself, while Iris’s are bigger, more opened up.

I’m coming at it from a retrospective angle, so Iris was (in the end) able to show her true self to the world, while Dahlia ended her story surrounded by deceit and manipulation.

Haven’t posted my ocs here before, but this is Leda, she’s both the protagonist and antagonist of my novel. She runs an insect (specifically dragonfly) worshipping cult, ever since her lover turned into a dragonfly. (Will post her later, she’s also a major antagonist). May or may not eat her situationship.
