I have discovered the truth about chainmail bikinis, and it is imperative those wearing such armor do not think about it too hard or they may inadvertently cross the line between Sexy Hero and Homicidal Pervert.
Fun fact, this is absolutely a doable thing in Pathfinder.
Bracers of Armor don’t count as wearing armor.
So those stack to be +8 AC by end game, plus +2 from bracers, pkus lets say like +3 from dex? Looking at a 23 AC? That’s pretty nice. Also enchanted clothes don’t count as armor, so you could hypothesis get it even higher.
Bracers can also be improved, and combined with an amulet of natural armor, ring of shield, dodge feat. Then add maybe invulnerable rager.
I haven't seen dancing pumpkin guy ONCE this year, are you guys okay?
FINE! I'll do it myself
Kids nowadays need to realize that portraying a bad thing is not condoning it. Fiction is a playground, after all. Someone writing about a character getting abused and murdered most likely doesn’t want that to happen in real life. Nobody is getting hurt IRL by that story. Fiction is the perfect place to explore ideas because no actual real people are being harmed or mistreated.
Kids nowadays also need to realize that closing the page and moving on is a valid option as well. Not everything is going to cater to your tastes and comfort levels. Curate your own experience online. Don’t follow people who post things that make you uncomfortable. They’re not hurting anyone by posting fictional stuff, but you’re hurting yourself by continuing to engage. The solution is for you to back out, not to demand that others cater to your whims.
My sister once wrote a short book, and included some seriously fucked up torture scenes, one of which was (Torture TW here) placing someone's extremities into running water. In her book she explained that after 2-3 weeks, the victim's extremities were nothing but bone, nerves, and blood vessels, and upon removing the limbs from the water, and the air making contact with the nerve endings, it caused excruciating, unbearable pain. Does she wish that on anyone? Hell no, she couldn't even look at my leg without passing out when I had been crushed between 2 cars. IRL she couldn't hurt a fly, or see bad injuries, but in books.. you better watch out if you're one of her fictional characters.
