Emma hadn’t meant anything by it when she told Dana about her date the previous weekend. It wasn’t even a bad date; the man was nice enough and paid for dinner. But there was one small detail Emma just couldn't let go.

He hadn’t brought her flowers.

"Jesus, Mary and Joseph, kid." Dana laughed. "There's other things you should worry about. Like bringing Earl his sandwich. No egg salad!"

Brendon preferred to never come down to the pitt, but this ortho consult couldn't wait. When he walked in, he couldn’t help but overhear the conversation between the charge nurse and the new RN that occupied his mind more than he would've liked.

He would've bought Emma flowers. Brendon forced himself to keep walking to Trauma 2.

Halfway through Emma's shift the following week, a delivery came for her. Flowers. Nothing flashy, just a simple bouquet. There was no note, but they kept coming. Every. Single. Week. And so what if Brendon Park just happened to be down in the ER when they got delivered to see her reaction?

Emma wants. Emma gets.
