Same Age AU where one of Vlad's schems ended up with Danny transferred to Gotham Academy, where he befriended Jon and Damian.

Jon, with his keen senses, comes to realization that Danny is not human but not guessing which race he is and also not wanting to reveal some's secret callously, trying to get to know Danny more. Always hinting that Danny can tell him anything.

Damian, meanwhile, is trying to keep Danny's existence under wraps because he does NOT want a new sibling, thank you very much.

The whole student body is thinking these three are trying to woo the other, without much success.

David and Catherine disappear for lunch. “This afternoon, Donna stunt-double Kim and Catherine are going to do their fighting,” announces Gareth. “Fighting is exciting!” Behind us, two Donna doubles are diving onto crash mats and Catherine is watching. “Wow, did you see that?” she says. “It looks like you’re about to be thrown over somebody’s shoulder,” says David. “‘What did you do at work today, Mum…’” Catherine jokes.

If one were to look closely into the wee hours of Gotham’s morning. When the smog and mist turns shades of violet and blues and everything stands on a knife’s edge between the dark sacred night and the bright blessed day, one might just glimpse an unusual Bird flitting around Gotham’s skyline.

its said that some little bird fell out of the sky, swallowed up by the Gotham dark, breaking her wings, bending her legs in all the wrong ways. But she stood back up anyways, with a whistle and a smirk, singing a little song to herself as she simply set to work.

So There’s new rhymes little girls teach each other on the playground. For jumprope games, or hopscotch or clapping hands in rhythm. sometimes you hear girls singing them on their ways home from school, or work, or wherever they went. Always they sing these rhymes in transit.

its not uncommon to see girls and young women painting splashes of blue across their eyes and noses, in a distinct pattern of the Bats. the workers in the night, who walk the streets, they share a bit of advice should some lady be running out into night. Find the doorways painted with the bluebirds and ravens. And whatever you’re running from will never find you.
