David and Catherine disappear for lunch. “This afternoon, Donna stunt-double Kim and Catherine are going to do their fighting,” announces Gareth. “Fighting is exciting!” Behind us, two Donna doubles are diving onto crash mats and Catherine is watching. “Wow, did you see that?” she says. “It looks like you’re about to be thrown over somebody’s shoulder,” says David. “‘What did you do at work today, Mum…’” Catherine jokes.

I cannot believe that for some people the most unrealistic thing about Wild Blue Yonder was that Issac Newton was played by an Indian guy. Not the fact that there were flying police telephone boxes and weird creatures that could make themselves look like Catherine Tate and David Tennant and had weird body parts.
