She kind of just sits down next to you, staring at you with her mouth slightly open
You were too busy rereading your study notes that it took you a bit to realize that your girlfriend had been admiring you for the past minute
When you finally look up at her and see her awestruck expression, you laugh
And Miyeon is even more shocked when she gets a better view of you with your glasses

She always backhugs you while you’re studying as a way of greeting
And when you turn around to complain, she notices the glasses straight away

But you can tell Yuqi secretly likes the glasses
Because barely a minute after you return studying, she pulls you back in for a kiss
And you never end up finishing studying because she pushes you onto the bed before you can say anything else

Your eyes lingered on her figure, making sure to be precise with your brush strokes. Almost complaining about how it was impossible to capture such angelic beauty on just a canvas. Every time you looked back to your painting, you a gaze on you, but whenever you looked around, everyone was busy with their own art.
So focused on the painting, you didn’t even notice the rest of the class start to filter out when the bells rang. “You’re really good,” A voice came from behind you, startling you. When you saw who it was you furrowed your brows in confusion. Looking between Miyeon and where she was previously, your eyes widening at how close she was.
“W-what did you say?” You managed to stutter out, trying desperately to create some distance between the two of you. “You're painting, it’s.. Amazing,” she said breathlessly. Your whole body tensed as she got even closer, inspecting your canvas, while simultaneously leaning over you.
Her hair brushed your shoulder, hand resting on your knee to balance herself. Your breath hitched as you looked up to her, side profile shining in the natural light. You’d never seen someone so perfect in your life, her tongue caught between her teeth in concentration.
“T-Thank you,” you managed to stutter out after an embarrassingly long pause. Her attention returned to you, faces now inches apart. It felt like time had stopped, her warm chocolate eyes staring directly into yours. “You’re welcome, Y/n,” she said cheerily. Pulling back, she patted your shoulder, and with that she skipped happily out of the room.
You swore you were hallucinating, but it felt like her hand lingered on you. Stuck in a daze you stared at the space she was once in, mouth parted in shock. “She knows my name?” You raised your eyebrows, confusion present on your face. “She knows my name!” You exclaimed, the realisation hitting you.

After your encounter with Miyeon, you were a lovesick mess. Always looking around the hallways in hopes of seeing her, staying back in classes to see if she would approach you again. But to no avail, she was always leaving as soon as she could, as if she was avoiding something. You looked at her in all of your shared classes, trying to get her to make eye-contact with you. Though she never did, her head kept forwards, a pink tint always coating her cheeks.
After a few days you started to lose hope, wandering the halls sluggishly, a dejected look on your face. Once again, you found yourself in that same art room, mindlessly walking towards an empty canvas. You let the brush guide you, bold stripes of colour covering the once plain sheet.
Stuck in a world of your own, you were completely unaware of the presence lingering behind you. You let out a satisfied huff, leaning back to admire your work. “What does it mean?” A curious voice came from behind you. Not bothering to turn around, you crossed your arms in thought.
“It depends how you look at it,” you spoke cryptically. The painting was full, bright colours bursting in the centre, splattering carelessly onto the darker colours on the edges. “It’s how you feel,” Miyeon said, tilting her head to the side. When you finally turned to meet her gaze, her lips parted in shock.
‘Were you always this beautiful?’ she wondered to herself, tugging her bottom lip between her teeth in thought. “Did I say that out loud?!” She screeched, noticing the dark blush that spread across your face. Not having the courage to look her in the eye, you nodded, eyes glued to the ground.
Once again, she found herself starstruck. Your shyness had her internally cooing, the small smile on your bright red face had her speechless. How had she not noticed any of this before? Suddenly everything became clear in her head, wheels turning.
“Hey, Y/n?” She asked, inching closer to you. Humming in response, you kept your gaze firmly on the floor. “I think I like you,” she mumbled under her breath, but you heard it loud and clear. Your head snapped up to her, eyes wide in shock, mouth opening and closing like a fish.
“I-I mean, it’s okay if you don’t like me back. Actually you know what, just forget I ever said anything.” She stuttered out in record time, rambling to fill your silence. “W-Wait!” You called out, panicked, as she tried to flee the room, not wanting to embarrass herself further.
“I think I like you too- Actually, I know I like you,” you said, a wave of confidence coming over you. “Really?” She asked in disbelief. “What do you really mean? Who wouldn’t like someone like you?” You asked seriously, making her blush furiously. “Yah, don’t say stuff like that!” Miyeon smacked your shoulder, trying to mask her shame. “Well, in that case, I like you too,” she said shyly.
“Would you like to go on a date with me?” You asked, nervously scratching the back of your neck. “Sure, I have the perfect idea!” She exclaimed enthusiastically, tugging you to sit on one of the empty chairs. When you raised your eyebrows at her she smiled, wiggling her eyebrows. “You can paint me!” She grinned, eyes shining with excitement.
You complied to her request, talking casually as you worked. Everything was comfortable, all signs of awkwardness had faded. Neither of you were sure how it ended with both of you covered in paint, sharing sweet kisses in between colourful attacks.
