wanting to have kids in order to continue your family line and leave a legacy is a normal, natural human desire.

wanting to have kids in order to not be alone in your old age (or in general) is a normal, natural human desire.

wanting to have kids in order to see the essences of you and your spouse combined into a new person is a normal, natural human desire.

these should all be subordinate to a desire to raise that child well for his or her own sake, and to the glory of their Creator. but these are all perfectly normal, even good reasons to want children. God gave us these desires for a reason.

in all honesty, starscream... doesn't really care.

that's not necessarily a bad thing. to him, it's just another human thing to get used to. he's not dismissive of it. he doesn't belittle you for it. he doesn't try to hide it. it's just... there. another thing about you, like your softer skin or how small you are compared to him.

he really only noticed something was different about you when he saw you stimming with your hands at one point. the conversation went about like this:

"what are you doing?"

"oh, um... i'm stimming? i do it when i get anxious. it helps me calm down."

"is that a human thing?"

"sort of? i'm autistic, so i tend to do that a lot."

"autistic? what's that?"

"it means i have autism. it's a disability. my brain works different from other people."

"oh... is it fatal or something?"

"no, thankfully."

"alright then."

and that's about it. he didn't press any further, because to him, it's a human thing, and that's all he needs to know. though, it does help explain some of your behaviors. if he ever sees you doing something he hasn't seen in other cybertronians, all he has to do is ask, "is that your... your thing? whatever it's called?" and wait for an answer. if you say yes, then he's satisfied.

it's kind of nice, honestly. he views it like frame differences in cybertronians. some fly, some roll, some do both, and every frame has different needs. to him, maybe you're a different frame from some other humans. it's not a perfect analogy, but it works for the two of you.
