I've been itching to try my hand at proper CC making for a while, and in my naivety decided that 1920s silhouettes would be pretty simple to create, so the Sybil dress was born! Personally I've always found there's a gap in historical CC for more simple daywear, so I've create a simple, summery day dress inspired by early 1920s fashion plates.
This project could not be released without saying a massive thank you to @surely-sims -- as well as being an amazingly talented storyteller and creator, Anne is also the kindest and most patient CC fairy godmother out there, and I couldn't have completed this without her help!

Welcome back to the glitz and glamour of the 1920s birthstone lookbook! After hair, jewellery is my favourite CC to hunt for so these ensembles were so much fun for me to put together. Want more good time gals and fabulous flappers? You can check out part one here. CC links under the cut.
Ruby is one of the most expensive gemstones and with its rich red colour it isn't hard to see why. Rubies have long been connected with physicality and strength, thought to be intimately connected with the human body.
Peridot is one of my favourite stones thanks to its gorgeous yellow-green hue. Because of this lively appearance they were often thought to protect their wearer at night.
Sapphire is considered a protective gemstone. They may shield the wearer from physical harm, as well as bad intentions and envy. It was also thought that sapphires had medicinal properties.
Opal is an incredibly unique gemstone with its multi-coloured appearance. Opals are associated with light and magic, with some crediting them with healing properties.

Topaz comes from the Sanskrit word for fire, which is reflected in its vibrant and rich orange-yellow colour. It is believed that topaz worn above the heart assures long life, beauty and intelligence.
Blue Topaz actually comes out of the ground colourless or pale blue. A two-step heat and radiation laboratory treatment is then used to turn these stones vivid blue.
As a look back into the last decade of fashion and an insight into the next, we have one final lookbook for the 1920s. That is of course for our next heiress in her early childhood years and final months in her beloved home city of New Orleans.
All of her clothes are very trendy, and would recently have been bought for her by her father. They are also more practical for strolling through the streets or reading alone than they are for playing with other children her age. She is a vivacious and excitable young girl, and her colors and patterns reflect that. They are also more in line with the tones her father Antoine and Aunt Jo tend to wear, as she is more like them in temperament and spirit than her mother Zelda.
She does however share her mother’s imagination and starry eyes, and we can see her dressing to be the young lady she images herself to be, or as her father likes to call her, the Little Princess. The quality of her wardrobe as well as her bows and Peter Pan collars impart the impression of a fanciful, if spoiled, young girl.
My immense thanks to the CC creators who made these looks possible! @pixelnrd @simiracle @plumbobteasociety @zurkdesign @historicalsimslife @historicalfictionsims @oranos @hezzasims
After realizing I didn't have enough loud 1920s wallpapers for my decades challenge, a collection of wallpapers suitable for a 1920s bungalow or a modern day maximalist.

A full body outfit based on the uniform Gleb Vaganov wears in Anastasia. Works well for any Russian military sims, not just the singing kind.
Mesh Credit: Okay, so. I found this mesh via BatsFromWesteros’ Coronation Pack. They say the mesh is from someone named WildTexan, who I couldn’t find any trace of. I edited it a little bit, but it’s mostly the same mesh. You don’t need to download the Coronation Pack for this suit to show up, but I would recommend it as it’s great.
