If the Feanorians lose their rights to the silmarils for their bloody deeds, does that mean they had the rights to the silmarils when they invaded Doriath and Sirion? Does that mean the teleri lost the rights to the swan-ships when they started killing people to defend their property? Is there an exception for when you defend your stuff from Morgoth’s followers? How do people who’s wills Morgoth has broken factor into this?

I’m seeing so many posts talking about elf ages all of a sudden; if the norm is that each century = 1 year of human life, does that mean that Idril was mean to her 4 year old cousin with a crush? And that that 4yr old then got blamed for cracking under Morgoth’s own gaze?

This is so weird IDK what to do with this information

It unironically doesn’t matter if they’re refugees or not, if the people who banned your language and stole your relic refuse to hand it over (even after you’ve proven your willingness and your ability to consistently win battles over centuries, most recently by breaking the back of their kingdom) then they can suit themselves. This goes double if they live in a city populated by the remnants of the OTHER two kingdoms who opted out of fighting literal Satan because they didn’t feel like it.
