Who’s there for me?
Robert Sugden: Christopher Smith (2001) - the end
You don’t care, you never did. Just selfish. You don’t care about us at all, do ya? All you’ve ever do is care about yourself! (Part 2 of 2)
These last two scenes are the heart of the episode. Robert apologizes to Kathy but it doesn’t last long when she hears him having gone to see Richie. So where’s Robert’s support, Kathy isn’t one of them. In the end, Kathy has reached her breaking point with the kids and the situation, everything, and just leaves. The same goes for Andy whose had enough and walks out with Robert going after him. Unfortunately that leaves Victoria all alone (who listened to everything from the stairs). Won’t spoil it with any dialogue snippet.

Look. I don’t have tell you what I’ve been doing and you don’t have to tell me what you’ve been doing cos I’m not interested, right? (Part 1 of 2)
The kids are not appreciative of Kathy’s ‘gourmet’ breakfast to kick off half term with and Robert is still in a mood with her. Things go downhill once Andy learns why calling Robert thick and a traitor (pot/kettle - do one, Andy). Robert winds up at Richie’s but there again things don’t turn out well because of him testifying against Jack. Kathy meets with land agent Harper who suggests selling the farm clean, slaughtering the livestock. Robert nada to do with Kathy or her friend, Harper.
Andy: It’s Richie, innit? How could ya? How could ya gang up with him against your own dad.
Robert: Look, it’s none of your business either.
Andy: Course it’s my business! Are you thick?
Robert: Who you calling thick?!
Kathy: Will you stop it both of you.
Andy: You’re more than thick you are. You’re a traitor…
