You’re a Sugden now. Sugdens are survivors.
It’s the day that Jack and Diane get news on her cancer with Robert being supportive to a scared Jack ending in a rare (and soon last?) hug. Rodney shows up at hospital with a bottle of champagne and Diane isn’t in the mood for his whinging over his illegitimate son he had with her sister. It’ll be no lifting or stress for Diane for six weeks and that means no work at the pub and staying at Jack’s (‘I love it when you’re masterful’). Dr. Beneke informs Jack and Diane the tumor was successfully removed but there was a minor spread (Duke’s C cancer), she’ll need six treatments of chemo.
