O!Ciel’s name is Sirius Phantomhive
It is apparently the brightest star in the sky.
It’d be cute because Ciel’s name means sky right? So like how stars illuminate the sky, Sirius brightens up Ciel’s life, they make each other happy. Stars can be used to navigate as well. So for Ciel, his brother is the brightest star in the sky, guiding him to his goal of being a good and honorable Earl, because the purpose of helping his younger brother guides him to that goal.
Also Sirius is also called the Dog Star, which fucking perfect, after all he is the Queen’s watchdog, he’s assumed that role and it suits him. Its also said to literally mean scorching. Suits O!Ciel right. Like the fire that consumed his mansion and his parents, like the brand mark seared into his skin, like how he himself will be engulfed by a demon for his sins, how he rejected heaven and his sins would earn him an eternity in hell...
And wouldnt it be cool, we can assume that Lord Sirius was R!Ciel, so wouldnt it be so funny, that R!Ciel finds out his brothers commited identity theft on Ciel, so he’s like odc why you stole my name, but that gives me the right to take your name. So he goes around callimg himself Lord Sirius for shits and giggles.
Everything just fits. Also theres the added bonus of Ciel and Sirius both starting with the “sss” sound. Tried to find a name like that because umm, me and my twin sister do so now its basically a twin rule in my eyes that you have to obey.
