3D printed Orthosis, based on the patient’s 3D scan, is designed and printed to replace plaster cast to facilitate healing of scars after surgery. The prototype is printed by @baltic3d for @project_wide. Using this printed cast makes it easier to take a shower, because it is waterproof. The model is also easy to take off when needed. The patient will not have to use it for more than 2 months and in these cases use of the hard PLA plastic is permitable.
