Chad and Aimee bought a small house
They bought a small plot of land (1x2) right next to his parent's house.

They did not want something large, as they are not planing on having a big family. Being romance and pleasure sims, they will be allowed one pregnancy only.
The property including the shell of a house cost them only 4'900, which left them plenty of money, to start decorating right away, as they had come away from university with a total of 28'300.
As soon as they moved in, they had a very nice wedding party, during which Aimee got to meet Chad's family.

I did some minor changes to it, mainly added some land at the back, enclosed the stairs to the first floor and as by rules, a new house has to be a shell, removed all windows, textures.
