I made it to Oahu and was excited to explore the white sand beaches I heard so much about. I stepped onto the sand and looked down at the ground and saw miles of small tiny plastics poking out; no exaggeration. I couldn’t even find a place to sit that wasn’t covered in micro plastics. 🌊🌊🌊 I am sad. I feel for these oceans and hear their call for help. I spoke to some surfers who said, this was a “good” day compared to what is normally covering this beach.
