DEFINITION ⦂⠀A person that someone may be defended by, often due to expressing oneself aggressively, controversially, generally not getting across what was intended, or being at the centre of social issues for such reasons. This may be to preserve one's own reputation, or the DfrP's by association.
This is non-exclusive, and I assume there is a large range of conditions that may feel best accompanied by a DfrP. Some may include ASD, CD, cluster Bs, those with symptoms of mania/manic episodes, et cetera.
