90s Raph vs IDW Michelangelo
Gotta say, 90s Raph is exhausted
He first fought IDW Venus, who is not much of a physical fighter (doesn't like hurting people) but Is a mind reader, and Raph's mind is already pretty clear on his face most of the time, and based on the movies he doesn't seem to like being read all that much (especially by Leo)
Then he won a narrow victory against 2007 Donatello, both of them getting major points for stamina. Dozens of foot soldiers--who, in this case, were teenagers trained by Shredder in order to get free cigarettes and video games, as opposed to the turtles training their whole lives--is impressive but not the same level of physically or emotionally exhausting as fighting your brother's counterpart who is several years more experienced and quite a bit more vicious.
That said, 90s Raph is a tough guy, and he has the cheers from the crowd which for sure energizes him some. And a reminder as well, the stealth is strong with this one.
IDW Mikey has just fought 2012 Mikey, and had to be kind of coaxed into fighting? Knowing 12 Mikey's energy and charisma, I'd say IDW is ready at this point to kick some shell and have some fun! His skills are versatile, he has faced demons, assassins, mutants, fathers.. And he's very good at application. What I mean is, he observes other people and learns from them, especially his brothers. And, well, he has had lots of opportunities to observe lots of versions of his brothers lately. (Side note, I don't think he approves of 2003 Mikey or Rise Leo... not that they're asking him)
Raph is also kind of a big softie and Mikey is kind of a troubled kid. So I would say Mikey has a definite advantage. Except...
In the match before that, Mikey totally creamed Raph's brother Donnie. 100/0. Raph knows Donnie can fight and likely feels he didn't even get a chance. And ohh man, if there is anything that's going to mute Raph's exhaustion, it's feeling protective of his brothers. Especially since the turtle he himself just beat... is 2007 Donatello. Supposedly connected with his canon (same Shredder helmet, called a sequel even though that makes no sense but the connection is enough for us to assume, perhaps resemblance?). And 2007 Don, has had a turbulent relationship lately with his Raph, which very well could have come up in the battle. And if it didn't, he still saw the guy beeline for his Leo as soon as that fight was over. You know who else tended to gravitate to Leo when he was upset in the second and third 90s movies?
Soo Mikey has been cheered up with the idea that this is a game, but Raph is not in game mode. He wants to win this thing for his brothers.
The question then, is whether his emotions help Raph to focus or end up making him rash and sloppy, which could go either way, both have been true. And, whether Michelangelo's newfound lightheartedness about the whole game brings out his skills, or outs into his head that it would be more fun to watch and meet a bunch of other turtles. Which could also go either way
I do think if it was skill alone, IDW Mikey has a little bit of an edge. However, the emotions of the situation do tend towards Raph's favor
Raph's vengeful focus or Mikey's skill and experience?

we need to give this girl NORMAL lessons in being NORMAL
2007 Donnie vs 90s Raph
Oooh I definitely think this is our most classic and most intense Brains v Brawn match off yet.
Donnie—analytical, planning ahead, decisive and fast but never rash, so so tired. Lots of experience, lots of patience.
Raph—clever, determined, lots of stamina, plenty of banter, never a moment of hesitation. Very durable body, very sensitive heart.
They both have scenes where they are outnumbered and taking out just a ton of foot soldiers, both seem pretty unphased by it. Raph does end up in a coma but he was ambushed and alone for the first half of that fight, and does much better later in the planned attack to rescue Splinter.
Donnie does not do so well in the construction scene against that monster, which we can probably chalk up to familial stress and maybe being a bit rusty. He also does seem to not be putting his full effort in as, more so than the others, he seems to want more information first about what they’re actually fighting. He would rather take hits while he observes and learns than end up regretting going full attack mode later. The battle near the end against the Foot showcases his skills and reflect much better on him.
So basically all I have is excuses for both of these boys.
No but in all seriousness, this I would imagine will be a close fight.
Who goes on?
Donnie (2007)
Raph (90s)

IDW Venus vs 90s Raph
I was gonna leave this Venus out because I just don't know enough. But like. I want her. More girl turtles yay!
Although it is,, kind of a stretch to call her a turtle....
Telepathy and the astral plane are her biggest things. This Venus feels to me more focused on those specifically and less interested in physical fighting than her predecessor. Healing is gonna be a big point in her favor too, I mean straight up resilience. She can regrow limbs. I mean from what I can understand that was real specific circumstances, but still, it shows experience figuring out hoe to heal herself.
She doesn't really want to be involved in the fighting, that will play in Raph's favor. Also interesting to me the way she can sense people.. I wonder what she would think of Raphael, being able to see him kind of more fully than others often do.
Anyway about Raph
Oh he's good. He's very good. Big stealth points for 90s boys. Also, held his own for a while against the Foot before getting thrown through April's window. Also, when breaking in to save Master Splinter, found it relaxing to fight the guards. Also good with kids as we learn in the third movie. That's not relevant to fighting but I feel like we should all remember that.
He did kind of let Casey egg him on and lost his smarts there for a sec. Seemed like he was purposely allowing the back and forth, but then when Casey called him a freak he chased him pretty clumsily and didn't catch him. But Casey Jones, especially 90s Casey Jones, just has that effect on people--er, mutants.
Anyways. Master Splinter says anger turned inward is an unconquerable enemy, which he worries Raph is choosing to face alone. This is relevant to this fight. Because Venus, she knows what she's doing. She can smell fear.
Venus is definitely not the type of opponent Raph is used to facing. I do give him some points for astral plane ability though because he and his brothers were able to connect with Master Splinter around the fire, seemingly with very little prep, just the right setting and cues from Leo. (I imagine this is going to be relevant in Leo's future fights. He didn't really need it against 12 Donnie fhsvsgsg)
I feel he is also not the type of enemy she is used to facing.. because she seems sort of,, not black and white thinking exactly... it's just that with Barlow, it was a very direct confrontation with a very blatant evil and I feel that had a big influence on her. She wants to avoid the feeling of evilness, which--and I feel 90s Raph perhaps has a better grasp on this in spite of his setting--good and evil is a really complex concept and the whole spectrum of emotion fits on both sides.
Who knew the cheesy 90s puppet would be more comfortable in the gray areas than the telepathic frankenstein's turtle from the more serious comics
Anyways I'm not sure that will necessarily play into a short match like this, but Venus does seem to be able to get a read on people very quickly. So either what she sees in Raph confuses her, or she latches onto that anger turned inward and.. heals him? thusly winning the fight? or forfeiting? but I think she would be okay with participating in a for fun tournament where everyone is still friends invited to compete again next year.
idk I think with these two a lot depends on their mood that day, like on a much more severe level than people's moods normally influence them
Can Venus help Raph conquer the unconquerable? And also who wins
