Um, for fics, maybe y'gythgba and renet traveling through time together. Y'gythgba could try to enter a medieval jousting tournament or something? It's sorta my new favourite rarepair xx

this is also my favorite ultra rarepair lmao.

Armor makes very interesting clanking noises, once someone’sdented it irreparably with their fist. Renet discovers this firsthand, becauseshe botched a time jump- again, argh- and landed herself and her totally smokinghot girlfriend in a medieval era. Again.

Thankfully, Y’Gythgba is A) really cute with her unimpressedeye rolls towards the other knights, B) actually seeming to have a lot of funbeating up people, and C) giving Renet loadsof great angles to snap pictures from.

Her gf- which Renet nevertires of saying, even just to herself- is to-tal-ly on fire today. She doesn’t even need a weapon to beat the poorschmucks; she just has to grab their helmets, hold them in place, and punchthem until someone calls defeat.

Tournaments are the bestidea humans ever came up with. Fancy clothes for everyone, cuties in armorbeating one another up for other cuties in the stands- Renet will totally bebringing up the idea of them making a comeback, soon as Y’Gythgba drops her offback home after their date.

Y’Gythgba finishes her dual with the knight, and drops hislimp body onto the muddy ground; raising her fist in victory and elicitingcheers from the crowd. They’ve been calling her the Demon Knight, but Y’Gythgba seems to actually really enjoy the name, so neither Renet or her girlfriend have discouraged the nickname.

Wow she looks gorgeous, all dusty and attractively mussed from fighting.

Renet snaps another picture, and immediately posts it to herprofile on the ultranet.

Jealous? Can’t touch,she’s all mine XD! #datenight She tags the description. Her friends start commenting afew seconds later, various levels of damngrrl ur so lucky!! and #gfgoals.

A thunk on the wooden railing in front of Renet breaks hersnappy text back, and she blinks at the appearance of Y’Gythgba right in frontof her; the alien warrior leaning on the railing casually, her wide yellow eyes catching the light so they turn gold.

“My lady,” Y’Gythgba says with a sly smile. “I was told tochoose someone to dedicate my victories to. I believe you’d be open to thatdedication?”

Renet feels her cheeks go hot, and she extends a handtowards her girlfriend. “I’m like, totally open to that idea. I always wanted aknight in shining armor to sweep me off my feet.”

“I’d be more than happy to oblige,” Y’Gythgba repliessmoothly, and takes Renet’s hand. She brings Renet’s slim fingers to her lips,and kisses them with all the gentleness of a butterfly’s landing.

Renet can’t help the embarrassed/happy giggle that comes outof her. She can’t wait to tell her fellow time apprentices, they’ll be so-o-o-ojealous.

I always figured he became Black Panther before his dad died? T'Challa was probably just in better physical shape than his dad, so maybe you can still be the Black Panther without being king, so long as you’ve been given that role by the monarch? Idk

i’m pretty sure that’s not how it works. i don’t really have any interest in watching civil war in full again, but i’m fairly certain that in that movie the suit deployed from a ring? or that t’challa took the suit from his father following the explosion at the united nations building? i could be wrong, but that’s definitely something i feel like i remember about that movie?

it’s also not confirmed or anything, but i do really appreciate the fan theory that the reasoning behind the upgrade shuri made to the suit was the kinetic absorption feature was because something like that could have saved her father, and while shuri had multiple suits in her lab, it doesn’t make sense for t’chaka and t’challa to both have one.

and while feige was originally lauded for sticking close to the comics and as of late has certainly veered away from them, the black panther and the ruler of wakanda has always been one in the same? it’s why n’jadaka is the black panther and the ruler of wakanda after he “defeats” t’challa in the challenge and so i don’t see t’chaka not being the black panther when it’s very clear that his the ruler of wakanda up until civil war.

and so while the purple flower make for a nice story point in the movie as an isolated event, i think that it doesn’t make sense in terms of the mcu at large because it can’t really be that important?
