Hi! Could I submit Gilgamesh Wulfenbach from the webcomic Girl Genius? He’s pretty heavily implied to be demisexual, he gives a rant to one of his friends about how he was certain he’s always be a bachelor because he’d never been interested in anyone at all until he met this one girl who he really connects with out of a shared interest in mad science (who he proposes to in week one and the next week is informed has died). He’s like 22 at this point and somehow accidentally got a reputation as a womaniser despite clearly never have even kissed anyone.

Hello! I don't know if someone's had this idea already but i haven't seen it so I'd like to do it. This Pride Month i will be running an a-spec character tournament blog, because i've seen so few a-spec characters out there and I wanna celebrate the ones we have and share the media they come from so that I and others can find more characters like us. I'll be running this from the blog @aaaaaaatournament , and if anyone would like to help me with designing a header for that, it'd be much appreciated. Also the amount of a's is for asexual, aromantic, aplatonic, afamilial, aemotional, a-asthetic, and agender, if there's any I'm missing lmk <3
Send me characters based on canon, headcanon, I don't care, with character's full name, the media they're from, and an author/director/idk man creator Of Some Kind. Something I'd love to see but no pressure is a line from the media demonstrating the character's a-spec identity, or a line from you about why you hc it. Propaganda is welcome, anti-propaganda will be blocked on sight I don't care how unrealistic you think someone's headcanon is.

Character list will be here (link) . Feel free to give me any new character by any means, comment, ask, submission, go ahead. If you could include details like media of origin and creator that would be great. They can be canon aspec characters or headcanons - just let me know which is which and maybe a line about why you hc them? Can even just be "the vibes" idc. If possible a line from source material supporting canon aspec characters would also be cool!!
The purpose of this is to celebrate aspecs in media and irl, and to spread the word of media containing aspec characters far and wide. Queer stories tend to focus on love a lot, which is valid, but so are our stories, which deserve to be told and recognised as queer stories in their own right. I can count on one hand the number of canon aspec characters I've come across, hence: this blog. Will be kicking off in early June, character submissions close on the 1st.
Propaganda is welcome, anti-propaganda will be blocked on sight I don't care how unrealistic you think someone's hc is. This is about spreading the joy of characters we can relate to, and policing people's joy is a pointless thing to do. Any hatred, aphobia, queerphobia etc wil be blocked.
