Aberlemno Pictish Symbol Stone: 'The Churchyard Cross', Aberlemno, Angus, Scotland
The Serpent Stone, Aberlemno Pictish Stones, Aberlemno, Angus, 20.5.18. On the front of this stone is a series of Pictish symbols and a serpent (possibly an adder). On the rear is a series of Bronze Age cup markings suggesting the Picts consciously reused earlier stones or markers.
