Jesus its like anti-abortion activists think people WANT abortions, no one fucking WANTS to have an abortion. It can fuck up your entire reproductive system and result in never being able to have children again when you're ACTUALLY READY AND PREPARED TO HAVE A CHILD. They hurt, they're scary the healing/ healing time is intense. no one WANTS to have one and guess what sometimes they're mandatory otherwise who ever is carrying the bean could, you guessed it die! AND YOU KNOW Some people actually realise its less cruel to terminate a couple cells than to bring a child into the world that cant and in a lot of cases wont be properly cared for. But hey i think we all know anti-a's only really care about the jelly bean with no feelings while its still up ya. Not about when its out and can actually experience pain, hunger, loneliness and neglect.
Lenny Letter + Personal Opinions
Ugh, titles. They’re the worst, right?
ANYWAY! I received the latest Lenny Letter in my inbox this morning, which inspired me. If you don’t get Lenny Letter, check it out here: http://lennyletter.com/.
Lena Dunham, et al., have some blind spots, that's true (and they’re working to improve them all the time). This article in question is incredible. Very worth the read. The article comprises two stories from friends’ mothers about abortions pre-Roe v. Wade, a treacherous time when women usually had to go to Mexico to complete the procedure–a country that had limited resources to throw at the issue, but laxer rules about where and when it was done.
Anyway, reading this article, and in conversation with an old friend, I thought up the following reply. I’m copying and pasting it here:
It always gives me chills to see site/groups that celebrate eliminating stigmas from potentially “shameful” things. Abortions aren’t shameful! They’re just a method for a woman to be autonomous and free–something everyone should have the right to feel and be.
All those dudes in Congress who love their Constitution, and their “freedom,” but want to keep women down by not allowing abortions: they can suck my dick. Tehy make me so angry.
It’s not just that it’s hypocritical. A lack of access to abortions is unhealthy for the mother and the child, and can be a strain on personal resources and community resources, too. No child wants to feel unloved, and no parent wants to feel resentful!
DUH. Vent over.
WHEW! so fired up thinking about how frustrating this fight over “choice” is. I hope women (and men) continue to fight for it. Everyone’s lives should be big and open, not shriveled & sad.
Anyhooooooooo, thanks for listening.
xx
Thank you, Lena and friends, for publishing. And thank you for reading, too. Let’s keep fighting for our privilege to live a life that we dictate (no fear!).
xx

Alright here goes nothing... the pain and nausea pills have had their time to kick in, so I guess this is it. So nervous...
Lol
SHOWING ME AN ABORTED FETUS IS NOT GOING TO MAKE ME STOP BEING PRO-CHOICE. ITS GOING TO MAKE ME THINK YOURE DISGUSTING AND INSENSITIVE FOR EMBARRASSING A WOMAN BY PUTTING SOMETHING LIKE THAT ON THE INTERNET.
i think abortion is wrong. i believe it is not of god.
but who gives a fuck. i can believe what i believe. as long as i dont judge.
like idc get an abortion. just dont tell me about it
im not gonna tell you its wrong. im just gonna keep to myself and believe what i want.
have a nice day
An important message to any of my Pro-life followers who have stuck around the last couple days. Please read.
First off- thank you very much
Secondly, I TOTALLY RESPECT YOUR RIGHT TO BE PRO LIFE AND WHY YOU ARE and I hope you can respect my right and decision to be pro-choice.
Let me explain why I am pro-choice. This does not mean that if god forbid I ever ended up in a situation where I might have to consider an abortion, it does not mean that by any means I would have one or would be able to. Whether it be by accident, sure stupidity or forbid I be attacked in someway, I am in no way ready to care for a child. I am all about taking responsibilities for your actions, and yes, it is a human life and I don't know that I would be able to end that and live with that for the rest of my life.
I am pro-choice because I am not okay with someone telling me what I should do with my vagina and other reproductive organs.
It should be an option for every woman. It is not your place to decide for another woman, or any woman what here options should be. If you don't want an abortion, then don't have one, but don't take that option away from other women who could be facing a life time of hard times because of a bad choice or something horrible happening to her. It's not your right to tell her she can't fix that in whatever way she deems best for her.
It is not for everyone. Not everyone can do it. But please don't deny someone the proper care they need because you don't want to upset your god. I am not trying to offend anyone here, I just want to be understood, and for you to know that I understand you.
Thanks for sticking it out, guys. And I'm really sorry if any of my posts bothered you. <3
if the government is keeping the death penalty, they should keep abortion legal
