25: why you enjoy them

pissclade is my ‘happy’ group- everything’s going right for them and while i’m sure that i could change that if i wanted, i don’t want to. i need a break from all the terrible i subject my charas to, and ely, tea, raghni, and (sometimes, depending on the timeframe) killer are comfortable and close (physically and emotionally) and satisfied with each other. it’s not like with chiroh, where she’ll never meet one clademember and will only be able to see another (potential) one on occasion, or behnii, ishtar, and tybalt, where they’re all together and miserable with it. it’s nice.

he could know/know of bekkah, as it’s been previously established that she’s worked for QPIN before! could, again, know of chiroh and dolios, because they’re a minor attraction within the psionic community operating outside of strictly alternian space by virtue of their unique situation. id could’ve maybe had previous contact with pissclade? (cecily, acatea, raghni) in some kinda social situation. they’re a bunch of lowblood psionics, they could conceivably run in the same social circles as him. and cecily and acatea are his age, so maybe there could’ve been some on planet contact? though they didn’t live too terribly near to him, and idk on what’d cause them to cross paths. i’m sure there’s something! he might know klim the overly friendly helmstech from a maintenance station somewhere.

when they were kids, ely and tea had a joint crueltube channel where they did sick psionic stunts. ely enviously rewatches the vids when he’s having a bad day, watching his younger, unscarred self use his psi effortlessly.

★ aemili and gladys used to be buddies! i’m hoping to come across a reason to reintroduce them to each other sometime, it’d be a right nasty shock for aemili to learn that the third person rounding out the lowblood trio with them and raz isn’t dead after all 8)

★ palawa is simultaneously terrified and disgusted with his matesprit’s moirail. might be nursing a bit of a blackcrush, conner’s everything pal turns his nose up at. he doesn’t get how anyone as patriotic and morally staunch as sulley ends up with someone like that.

★ acatea’s exceptional in that she had helmsports installed of her own free will, for a given value of free will

★ raghni collects strays like you would not believe, she’s a bit of a bleeding heart. the number of people tea has had to shoo out of their ship at one time or the other

cecily and raghni meet because they’re part of the same support group, and raghni ends up meeting acatea when the ac in her car’s out one day and she tags along w/ ely instead of reading a book in the car like usual because like fuck is she sitting there sweating for an hour and a half in the summer heat. 

ely and tea met in sixth grade through a minor altercation centered around a novelty eraser shaped like an icecream cone, and have been on-and-off fwbs since high school. they only really end up getting serious after cecily’s accident, which is it’s own can of worms

when they meet raghni, they’re kinda-sorta dating, and they ask her out for coffee hand in hand

raghni is both flattered by the fact that these college aged kids wanna jump on her dick and mildly confused by the whole ‘polyamory’ thing. she does a lot of googling

raghni has a minor sexuality crisis, complete w/ the kinda clueless transphobia so common in cis ppl, before she decides that she can just be a lesbian who is incidentally dating an nb kid and a transboy. these things happen
