still pissed off that the place where I go for therapy has not one, but TWO massive staircases on the way in. No ramps or anything. No elevators. No alternatives at all. The railing on the second staircase is totally busted and can't support any weight

Just a short note to whine about the brain geniuses at Tumblr HQ deciding in all their great wisdom to have the alt text box cover the image it asks you to describe. Great work boys, hit the showers.
So I went to try on some clothes at h&m today and of course the one accessible dressing room was taken by an able bodied teenager. Her mother looked at me with my forearm crutches and says "oh she'll be a while."
I should have just sat there and waited while staring her down but of course I chickened out and was all nice about it so I struggled in a regular stall to fit my crutches while trying on clothes. Gah, I wish I had said something!
My favorite, “disabled lifts”. I especially love the one pictured above, which has a sign on it where disabled is misspelled. The sign also has both the person on a wheelchair symbol and a baby stroller. The sign reads “NOTICE. To use the diabled [sic] lift, please come upstairs to the buffet and notify a member of staff so that we can turn the power on. Thank you.” Those who made this sign seem to be completely ignorant of the irony of this sign: if you need the lift, you can’t go upstairs to ask for them to turn on the lift. I don’t understand why they keep these things behind lock and key. To save on electricity? How is this legal?

More like a basic accessibility nightmare.
As mentioned in the video, I can independently go out from the door to the street in my manual wheelchair, once the gate is open. But, not back in. My partner needs to provide a power assist every time.
If he isn't here and able/willing to help push, I cannot get into my own house in the chair. As a full-time wheelchair user.
The folding metal ramp at the back door was ordered/supplied by a local council OT team. We quickly added the other ramp for the smaller step on the back walk, on our own.
We are thankfully preparing to move into a far more accessible place next month. (Thus, the disarray.) We are both looking forward to it.
If I were going out more often now during Plague Time, we would definitely have replaced that door ramp before now with a less steep, more usable fixed type.
But, this is the situation for the time being.
Attention: YouTube content creators
It's great that you've enabled auto generated subtitles. But can you please stop putting text regarding what you're discussing at the bottom of the screen. You know, where the subtitles go? Because I then have to choose between your text, or the (badly generated) subtitles.
Also, if you tend to talk really fast, make your own subtitles, because the auto generated ones just end up confusing people.
