hey i'm considering getting a rollator but i have zero idea what brand is the best brand for me. budget wise i'm currently looking at elenker and nova. any experience with the two? i just want a standard rollator, not a transport chair i think and definitely not the upright one. both indoor and outdoor use. i think it's between the nova star 8 petite and the elenker kld-9218 as of now

using mobility aids doesn't make you less of a person.
11/4/23 really bad pain day we had Bubbie with us we had our rehabilitation specialist contact and we took a walk with our rollator walker it's so much better support then our cane but it's hard to stim with both hands holding balance hh wdk what to do :/ - The Dreamdrop System
Im gonna go pick up atleast a rollator but hopefully also a wheelchair from the disability services tomorrow for a loan!
Does anyone have tips for using a rollator?
Kiku hasn't before but has seen posts about tips for wheelchairs and canes but not for rollators/walkers.
Plus Kiku hasn't known anyone who uses one, just people who use canes and wheelchairs. Kiku is feeling little lost 😅
My favorite, “disabled lifts”. I especially love the one pictured above, which has a sign on it where disabled is misspelled. The sign also has both the person on a wheelchair symbol and a baby stroller. The sign reads “NOTICE. To use the diabled [sic] lift, please come upstairs to the buffet and notify a member of staff so that we can turn the power on. Thank you.” Those who made this sign seem to be completely ignorant of the irony of this sign: if you need the lift, you can’t go upstairs to ask for them to turn on the lift. I don’t understand why they keep these things behind lock and key. To save on electricity? How is this legal?
Here is my rollator. It is clown themed.
Description: a rollator covered in tacky fabrics, buttons, poms, and a clown doll. End description.
