𖹭˗ˏˋ꒰ 🍒 ꒱ Hi! Everyone! I recently ordered clicker counters! They should be here by 6.8.2026I already always track my affirmations (I also track them in my productivity logs) using a clicker app but wanted to do 10k-50k challenges. I’ve been meaning to do a 10k affirmation challenge for a long time but it is difficult using a phone. So, I was wondering if anyone would like to do the challenge with me? Feel free to comment and DM me! I am always willing to make more friends and such!

Hey, would anyone be interested in being like, productivity friends? Coworking websites and "daily check in" discord servers and whatnot don't really work for me, because I am a chronic yapper and can't stand prolonged silence, and also strangers do not motivate me to do anything. If you 1) Don't mind talking while you work 2) Want to co-work with someone 3) Want to meet your personal goals without being super stringent about them 4) Want to meet pretty frequently to do homework (or an activity of your choice. It could be art, chores, that app you've been putting off, etc) 5) Also want to be buddies outside of being productive please hmu. I like anime, reading, drawing, and the fiber arts.

I wanted to share with you a realization that dawned upon me after weeks (6, to be exact) of being stuck and wallowing in the land of motivation. Let's talk about that rollercoaster ride called "PhD Motivation".

✨ Motivation: The Spark We all know that feeling when inspiration strikes, and we're fueled by an intense burst of motivation. It's like a spark, igniting the fire within us, and we're ready to conquer the academic world. But, here's the thing: that spark is fleeting, and it's not always around when you need it.

✨ Momentum: The Sustainer That's where momentum comes into play. Think of it as the gentle breeze that keeps your fire burning. It's that sense of progress, accomplishment, and consistency that pulls you through even on the toughest days. Momentum is what keeps you going long after the initial motivation has faded.

✨ The Secret Sauce: Small Tasks So, how do you harness this momentum magic? It's simple: start with small tasks. When the mountain of research, writing, and analysis seems overwhelming, break it down into manageable chunks. It's like eating an elephant—one bite at a time! Tell yourself to finish just one tiny task (like writing just 100 words in a manuscript or debug just one block of code), and then most certainly you'll continue the task.

Hey guys, it’s Ali. I have been trying for months to have an accountability partner for my university courses but to no result whatsoever. That’s why I wanted to put a post on here and look if anyone would be interested.

I look mainly for another student, at least 16, to bond and hold me accountable for my studies. Of course, I would do the same: calling to wake up, sharing deadlines, online study sessions… All of that. I am from Europe so also it’s important that we are from similar timezones, mine is gmt +1 but I can do 1-2 hours more or less. Regarding methods of communication my dms are open but my notifications are shit, so I’m looking to chat over discord, telegram and even instagram if the other options are disqualified.

I don’t care how many followers do you have or if you get straight as, I’m just looking for a normal person who isn’t transphobic, ableist, etc. If you would like to be my study partner dm me and we will talk, and if more than 1 person wants to we can even form an online study group!
