2. When did James become Moriartys given name if he has a brother named James?! (Verdict here is that Doyle couldn't care less about continuity so brother gets a different name)

3. What name should Moriarty have since he's supposed to be a civilian professor? (Theres an Irish name Faolan that is pronounced like felon, and its hilarious to me so that is now his first name. It means wolf or warrior but the PUN)

So im sitting here cross referencing different cases and Canon to get the most accurate view of the characters.....

And then I got to Reichenbach.

Listen. Moran was already not at the falls due to a severe case of "getting shot in the chest-itis" so there was no reason for Holmes to NOT continue living and existing sooooo.......

Now Holmes goes over the side into the water fall, survives due to sheer good luck but is in a coma for two years, and then wakes up with amnesia and reduces himself back to john and London.

IT MAKES THE MOST SENSE THEMATICALLY BUT I STILL FEEL LIKE A TRAITOR
