Group: Palestine Solidarity Campaign
From their website:
"Palestine Solidarity Campaign (PSC) is a community of people working together for peace, equality, and justice and against racism, occupation, and colonisation. Together we are the biggest organisation in the UK dedicated to securing Palestinian human rights."
For over 30 years, the PSC has been a major part in the UK movement for Palestinian rights. They continuously campaign for Palestinian rights, has brought public attention to how the government and big corporations have been and are involved with Israel.
Some of their achievements include:
Getting John Lewis to stop selling Soda Stream
Making Veolia sell their shares in the Jerusalem light railway and G4S promise to sell of their subsidiary G4S Israel - both companies were pulling out of Israel
HSBC announced it had fully divested from the Elbit Systems in Dec, 2018
Plus others (see their website)
They continue to have large numbers in protests as well as drum up conversations about Palestine and keep it within general conversation, for example: telling people to boycott brands like Puma.
They are not a charity, nor are afiliated with any political party as they try to work with parties across the spectrum to try and make changes in UK gov policy.
Their website has resources on Palestine as well as a shop where you can buy flags, stickers, Keffiyehs and other items to support them.
