I love you systems with a lot of lgbtq alters

I love you systems who don't use the more mainstream language to refer to yourselves

I love you systems with no host & with multiple hosts

I love you systems who formed through trauma that isn't as well recognized

I love you systems who feel your system *is* linked to other disorders you have

I love you psychotic systems and systems with MaDD

I love you non-white systems

I love you physically disabled systems

I love you systems who don't remember their trauma at all

I love you systems with complicated identities

I love you systems who do fit in stereotypes about systems, and ones who fit in none of them

I love you systems who are loud about who and what you are

I love you systems who worry you're faking

I love you systems from religious and ethnic minorities (ex: Muslim systems, Jewish systems, Celtic systems, Tibetan systems, etc.)

ok, be honest... how many of you CDD systems actually consistently track your switches?

We track every single switch

We track most switches, but we miss sometimes

it's 50/50 if we track or don't

We miss most switches, but we still try to track when we remember

We don't even try to track switches

CDD = Complex Dissociative Disorder. An umbrella term for systems with DID, OSDD-1, P-DID, DDNOS, and UDD

an hour into this, but it's so good! i really related to some of the things brought up in this presentation as a dissociative person (DID). highly recommend giving it a watch if you have the time

it is focused on how to treat dissociative patients, so the target audience is therapists and psychiatrists, but i also got something out of it as a patient

How does it feel to other systems when they switch? Here's some of our switching sensations:

Feeling like being thrown around inside our body like riding a roller coaster

Feeling like one of us dissolves into nothing and another person takes over the body (possession)

Suddenly feeling like having stepped into a foreign body

Forgetting "who we are" and feeling like we are an imposter trying to act like someone we aren't

Feeling like we are still a child trapped in our traumatic environment (flashback)

Not noticing for awhile until something/someone makes us think about it (like individual quirks, likes/dislikes, dysphoria, ect.)

Just some I thought of of the top of my head. We are still discovering more about ourselves and realising that what we are dealing with isn't normal and that we are indeed severely mentally ill. Awkward lol
