No! the stress will kill the patient! She needs Adderall to live
This is so accurate lmao
Getting started on adhd meds made me realize that laziness wasn't supposed to feel like existential dread. You're not supposed to feel like you'd rather die than do your homework or take a shower.
Realized that one day at the library: didn't feel like doing a school project, but I went "meh, it's no big deal, i'll do it anyway". And then as I was going I went "hold on a minute.... I am actually doing it. I didn't feel like doing it but I did it anyway."
So yeah that's the day I understood what normal laziness was supposed to be like
these blinkies go to therapy
or at least should
i can joke about this because I have all the mentioned illnesses and disorders and have tried three of these medications. hehe.
So I’ve come off my Wellbutrin (was on it for 8 years for persistent depressive disorder) and am now just taking adderall. And oooo boy let me tell you, I’m calmer, my anxiety has decreased, I’m more level headed, I feel more capable. Who woulda thought treating the 28 year long undiagnosed ADHD would actually help. Here’s to things continuing to move in this direction. Wish me luck!
Okay, I just took Adderall for the first time in several years. I don’t have an official ADHD diagnosis since I don’t quite meet the criteria - but like, it was enough for doctors to recommend me trying medication.
I originally tried it during the pandemic when I was unemployed - so it was hard to judge the results.
Long story short - I’ve had some issues paying attention while working so I decided to try meds again. I got a refill so I wasn’t taking old meds…and I just took 10 mg, the most I’ve ever taken
I need to keep a record of some sort for my psychiatrist so here it is…
Emily moment
at least the adderall capsules are pink!🎀
