a concept with butterfly wings

imagine, on a particularly decadent day in the future 

you’re packing a small wicker basket for a picnic in a nearby meadow. you might be meeting a loved one, you might be going by yourself. regardless of the company, your day is yours and yours alone. you deserve this. pack the wicker basket with small sandwiches, glazed cakes and neatly sliced fruit. 

you’re walking to the meadow, with the sun gleaming and the wind whispering though your hair. you’re dressed in a soft, comfortable outfit that helps you feel confident and safe. there are small pebbles decorating your path to the meadow. you are worthy of this feeling of comfort and peacefulness. 

you’re sat on a soft, checkered blanket in the middle of a flower-speckled glade. you have a glass of your favourite drink in one hand, and a good book or brand new sketchbook in the other. you take a sip of your drink as the wind playfully rustles the collar on your shirt.

life is good here. the air is painted with pollen from the nearby blooms, and the sun is warm on your smiling face. your food is tasty and you have all the time in the world to enjoy it. with each turn of the page, you relax even further and lose yourself in what you’re reading/drawing.  you deserve this.
